Château de Talmont‑Saint‑Hilaire

O'Gliss Park is a large water amusement park with more than 25 slides, a wave pool, and a special children's zone (Ludo Park). A full day of water fun guaranteed: fast slides for teenagers, bubble zones for little ones, and relaxation zones for parents. Popular in summer, so it's best to book tickets in advance. Perfect for families looking for a day full of action and cooling off. This is located about 15 km from the campsite.

For those who prefer to stay dry, O'Fun Park is the ideal day out. This recreation park combines activities such as go-karting, ziplining, paintball, tree climbing, and mini golf. Lots of variety, so it's ideal for teenagers and families with children who love adventure. Somewhat quieter than O’Gliss, but just as much fun. It's also easy to do group activities there. This park is located about 20 km from the campsite.

Écomusée Le Daviaud

30 kilometers from the campsite, there is an open-air museum of 75 ha that showcases local life in the Marais vendéen. You will learn about the marshland economy, archaic techniques, fauna, and flora through seven thematic zones. From April to September there are craft demonstrations and interactive explanations. Great for families, culture lovers, and nature enthusiasts who want to learn more about this unique landscape.

    This is our second year camping here as a family with kids, teens, and a grandpa. It’s been a real treat. The campground perfectly balances quiet nights with a variety of activities and entertainment during the day and in the evening. The staff is super friendly and always there for the guests. A family-friendly and very laid-back atmosphere. Special shout-out to Jérémy, the go-to manager, the entertainment team, and Océane, who delighted both kids and adults ❤️ See you again next summer 🌞

    The mobile home was dirty—I found at least five spiders, and the furniture was covered in dust. In the bathroom, there were urine stains coming from the shower... The pool area is tiny... I booked this campground for its indoor pool, which is under maintenance all summer, but no one tells you that—you just have to figure it out. My CSE hadn’t been informed that the indoor pool was unusable, even though at the front desk I was told that the CSE was aware of it.... Furthermore, one evening my children and others were playing in the bouncy castle, which was deflated without even notifying guests of the castle’s opening and closing times. I do not recommend this place at all.

    Mobi-home sale j'ai retrouver au moins 5 araignées et les meubles étais plein de poussière. Dans la salle de bain des remontées d'urine sorte de la douche... L'espace aquatique est tout petit... J'ai commandé ce camping pour sa piscine intérieure qui est en maintenance tout l'été mais personne ne l'informe.. il faut le deviné. Mon CSE n'avais pas eu l'information que la piscine intérieure étais pas utilisables alors que a l'accueil on m'a dit que les CSE étais au courant... De plus un soir mes enfants et d'autres jouait dans le château gonflable, celui ci a été dégonflé sans même prévenir les vacanciers des horaires d'ouverture et de fermeture du château. Je ne recommande pas du tout.

    I had a great week at Les Dunes Campground. I tagged along with a friend who had booked a spot there, and I don’t regret my choice at all. All the staff—at the front desk, housekeeping, the snack bar, and the entertainment team—are truly fantastic and very attentive to our needs. It feels like a family-friendly and very welcoming campground. Don’t hesitate to go there for your vacation. There are many beaches near the campground, and the town center of La Tranche is also a really nice place to visit.

    Super semaine aux camping les dunes. J'ai suivi un ami qui avait reservé dans ce camping et je ne regrette pas mon choix. Toutes les équipes : accueil, ménages, snack-bar, animation sont vraiment top et à notre écoute. On ressent un camping familial et très convivial. N'hésitez pas à y aller pour vos vacances. De nombreuses plages sont proches du camping et le centre ville de la tranche est très sympa aussi à faire.

    We are very disappointed with the quality of the site. There was dog poop there when we arrived.
    The ground was very bumpy, and our neighbors were forced to plug into our outlet because they couldn’t find theirs, and no one had come to show them where it was despite their request upon arrival three days earlier.
    We find the nightly rate excessive given the poor quality.
