Château de Talmont‑Saint‑Hilaire

This medieval castle is impressively well preserved, with towers overlooking the ocean and surrounding villages. It combines architecture, history, and views – perfect for families, history buffs, and photography enthusiasts. You can wander through the old rooms and fully enjoy the panoramic view from the walls. For children, there are sometimes treasure hunts or themed guided tours. The nearby harbor and salt marshes complete the visit. Absolutely worth it if you want to experience culture just a short distance from the campsite.

Marais Poitevin – Green Venice

This watery nature reserve is beautiful and tranquil: boat trips with canoe or boat through peaceful canals, green reedlands, and birds such as herons. The nature park offers a unique mix of biodiversity and tranquility. Ideal for hikers, bird lovers, and those seeking peace. In season, you can picnic along the waterfront or taste a local dish in a nearby village. Certainly an experience that combines relaxation and nature, less than 30 minutes from the campsite.

O’Gliss & O'Fun Park

O'Gliss Park is a large water amusement park with more than 25 slides, a wave pool, and a special children's zone (Ludo Park). A full day of water fun guaranteed: fast slides for teenagers, bubble zones for little ones, and relaxation zones for parents. Popular in summer, so it's best to book tickets in advance. Perfect for families looking for a day full of action and cooling off. This is located about 15 km from the campsite.

For those who prefer to stay dry, O'Fun Park is the ideal day out. This recreation park combines activities such as go-karting, ziplining, paintball, tree climbing, and mini golf. Lots of variety, so it's ideal for teenagers and families with children who love adventure. Somewhat quieter than O’Gliss, but just as much fun. It's also easy to do group activities there. This park is located about 20 km from the campsite.

Écomusée Le Daviaud

30 kilometers from the campsite, there is an open-air museum of 75 ha that showcases local life in the Marais vendéen. You will learn about the marshland economy, archaic techniques, fauna, and flora through seven thematic zones. From April to September there are craft demonstrations and interactive explanations. Great for families, culture lovers, and nature enthusiasts who want to learn more about this unique landscape.

    We had the pleasure of staying in a caravan at this campsite twice and what a wonderful discovery! 😊 From the moment we arrived, we were greeted in a warm and caring manner, with great professionalism. The welcome is really top-notch 👌. The location was perfect, exactly what we'd been looking for for several years... We've finally found our little corner of tranquility, and for sure, we'll be coming back with great pleasure for many years to come ❤️ A huge thank you to Jérémie, the owner, and his entire team: always attentive, available, caring and truly invested in the well-being of our holidaymakers 🙏 The campsite also offers great facilities: a lovely, very pleasant swimming pool 🏊, a good play area, and a top-notch inflatable structure for the kids, who loved it! 🎈 We also really enjoyed the restaurant and bar: a friendly setting, quality cuisine and impeccable service 🍽️🍹 In addition, we took part in the evening Karaoke and Loto Musical entertainment, which swept us away thanks to top-notch entertainers 👌 Thanks again for these beautiful weekends of sharing

    Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner en caravane dans ce camping par deux fois et quelle magnifique découverte ! 😊 Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis de manière chaleureuse et bienveillante, avec un grand professionnalisme. L’accueil est vraiment au top 👌. L’emplacement était parfait, exactement ce que nous recherchions depuis plusieurs années… Nous avons enfin trouvé notre petit coin de tranquillité, et c’est certain, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour de nombreuses années ❤️ Un immense merci à Jérémie, le propriétaire, ainsi qu’à toute son équipe : toujours à l’écoute, disponibles, bienveillants et réellement investis pour le bien-être des vacanciers 🙏 Le camping propose également de très belles installations : une belle piscine très agréable 🏊, un bon espace de jeux, et une structure gonflable au top pour les enfants, qui ont adoré ! 🎈 Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le restaurant et le bar : un cadre convivial, une cuisine de qualité et un service irréprochable 🍽️🍹 Par ailleurs nous avons participé aux animations en soirée Karaoké et Loto Musical qui nous ont emportés grâce à des animateurs au top 👌 Merci encore pour ces beaux week-ends de partage

    Campsite close to beaches with pedestrian access through the forest. The accommodation was well laid out, clean, quiet and very complete (dishes +++, cleaning kit, sheets...), air-conditioned which was a lifesaver at 35°. Swimming pool, shower for surfboards, bouncy castle, mini-market with very reasonable prices, restaurant service (unfortunately closed at the time of our visit). All that's missing is a compost area and why not an antigaspi fridge to store condiments on departure :)

    Camping proche des plages avec un accès piéton par la forêt. Le logement était bien agencé, propre, calme et très complet vaisselles +++, kit de nettoyage, draps..), climatisation présente ce qui était salvateur par 35°. Piscine, douche pour les planches de surf, chateau gonflable, supérette avec prix très raisonnables, service de restauration(malheureusement fermé lors de notre venue). Il ne manquerait plus qu'un espace de compost et pourquoi pas un frigo antigaspi pour déposer les condiments lors des départs :)

    Campsite under the pines with mobile home areas We were at the end of a cul-de-sac, so you had to be clever with your car to park. Pitch facing the forest and the burnt hedge. Mobile home too small for a family of 4 with a dog (yet 3 bedrooms) but living room and kitchen too small. Snack bar very good for pizza and burgers. Didn't test the pool.

    Camping sous les pins avec des quartiers de mobil-home Nous étions en fin d'impasse, faut être habile avec ça voiture pour ce stationner. Emplacement face a la forêt et la haie cramé. Mobil-home trop petit pour une famille de 4 personne avec un chien.(Pourtant 3 chambre) mais salon cuisine trop petit. Snack très bien pour manger pizza et burger. Pas testé la piscine.
