Château de Talmont‑Saint‑Hilaire

This medieval castle is impressively well preserved, with towers overlooking the ocean and surrounding villages. It combines architecture, history, and views – perfect for families, history buffs, and photography enthusiasts. Marais Poitevin – Green Venice

This watery nature reserve is beautiful and tranquil: boat trips with canoe or boat through peaceful canals, green reedlands, and birds such as herons. The nature park offers a unique mix of biodiversity and tranquility. Ideal for hikers, bird lovers, and those seeking peace. In season, you can picnic along the waterfront or taste a local dish in a nearby village. Certainly an experience that combines relaxation and nature, less than 30 minutes from the campsite.

O’Gliss & O'Fun Park

O'Gliss Park is a large water amusement park with more than 25 slides, a wave pool, and a special children's zone (Ludo Park). A full day of water fun guaranteed: fast slides for teenagers, bubble zones for little ones, and relaxation zones for parents. Popular in summer, so it's best to book tickets in advance. Perfect for families looking for a day full of action and cooling off. This is located about 15 km from the campsite.

For those who prefer to stay dry, O'Fun Park is the ideal day out. This recreation park combines activities such as go-karting, ziplining, paintball, tree climbing, and mini golf. Lots of variety, so it's ideal for teenagers and families with children who love adventure. Somewhat quieter than O’Gliss, but just as much fun. It's also easy to do group activities there. This park is located about 20 km from the campsite.

Écomusée Le Daviaud

30 kilometers from the campsite, there is an open-air museum of 75 ha that showcases local life in the Marais vendéen. You will learn about the marshland economy, archaic techniques, fauna, and flora through seven thematic zones. From April to September there are craft demonstrations and interactive explanations. Great for families, culture lovers, and nature enthusiasts who want to learn more about this unique landscape.

    We had an amazing week in a mobile home with my three kids, and we’re leaving with some wonderful memories! 😊
    A big thank you to the entire campground team. The restaurant staff is truly top-notch: always smiling and welcoming. The pizzas are delicious 🍕 and the mussels-and-fries night was really great!
    The front desk staff is always … available when you need them and responds with kindness. A big thank you also to the maintenance team: we ran into a few minor issues at the start of our stay, but everything was fixed in no time! 👏
    I didn’t really get a chance to get to know the activity leaders, but they all seemed very friendly. The owner is also very kind, always smiling and pleasant.
    The campground is just the right size: not too big, not too small, which is really nice when you have kids. Access to the ocean is very convenient thanks to the little path that goes through the forest 🌊🌲.
    The only minor downside is the pool, which I found particularly cold—almost colder than the ocean! 😅
    But that’s just a minor detail compared to the rest of the trip. We had a wonderful week, and I highly recommend this campground! ☀️
    Thanks to the whole team for a great vacation—we can’t wait to come back!

    Nous avons passé une semaine exceptionnelle en mobil-home avec mes trois enfants, et nous repartons avec de très bons souvenirs ! 😊
    Un grand merci à toute l’équipe du camping. L’équipe du restaurant est vraiment au top : toujours souriante et accueillante. Les pizzas sont succulentes 🍕 et la soirée moules-frites était vraiment géniale !
    L’équipe de l’accueil est toujours disponible lorsque vous en avez besoin et répond présente avec gentillesse. Un grand merci également à l’équipe technique : nous avons rencontré quelques petites galères au début de notre séjour, mais tout a été réglé en un temps éclair ! 👏
    Je n’ai pas vraiment eu l’occasion de connaître les animateurs, mais ils avaient tous l’air très sympathiques. Le patron est également très gentil, toujours souriant et agréable.
    Le camping est à taille humaine : ni trop grand, ni trop petit, ce qui est vraiment appréciable avec des enfants. L’accès à l’océan est très pratique grâce au petit chemin qui traverse la forêt 🌊🌲.
    Le seul petit bémol concerne la piscine, que j’ai trouvée particulièrement froide, presque plus froide que l’océan ! 😅
    Mais cela reste un détail par rapport à l’ensemble du séjour. Nous avons passé une semaine formidable et je recommande vivement ce camping ! ☀️

    I find the campground disappointing. The campsite is very narrow and sandy, right under pine trees (watch out for things falling from above 😉). The campground is crammed with mobile homes. The washhouse has seen better days. Plus, they’re dirty and run-down. Too bad. We’ve seen enough other places to say that.
    We also didn’t like the path … through the forest to the beach, but the beach itself is amazing—though that doesn’t factor into our rating.
    We didn’t use the pool.
    We were only here for one night, and that was enough for us.

    Ich finde den Platz enttäuschend. Der Stellplatz in sehr schmal und sandig, direkt unter Kiefern (Achtung Geschosse von oben 😉). Der Platz ist vollgestopft mit Mobilheimen. Das Waschhaus hat die besten Jahre hinter sich. Ausserdem sind sie dreckig und heruntergekommen. Schade. Vergleiche haben wir genug, um das sagen zu können.
    Ebenfalls gefiel uns der Weg durch den Wald zum Strand nicht aber der Strand selbst ist mega, der fließt aber nicht in unsere Bewertung mit ein.
    Den Pool haben wir nicht benutzt.
    Wir waren hier nur 1 Nacht, reichte uns auch.

    Great campground, very well laid out... the entertainment team was top-notch, as were the staff at the bar, restaurant, and maintenance. They really put their all into the shows—we had an amazing two weeks with our kids at this family-friendly, intimate campground... I’d just mention one small downside regarding the slides, where some … children—unsupervised by their parents—stand up or climb back up the slide the wrong way without considering others... We’ll definitely be back next year. Thanks to the entire team, as well as the director, who always has a kind word and a smile....

    Super camping très bien agencé... l'équipe d'animation au top ainsi que le personnel du bar de la restauration de la technique. . Ils s'investissent a fond dans les spectacles nous avons passer deux semaines au top avec nos enfants camping familial a taille humaine... je mettrais juste un petit bémol concernant les toboggans ou certains enfants non surveillé par les parents se mettent debout ou remonte le toboggan a l'envers sans tenir compte des autres ... nous reviendrons sûrement l'année prochaine merci a toutes l'équipe ainsi qu'au directeur qui a toujours un petit mot et le sourire ....
