Picturesque villages in the area
Discover the charming villages of the Luberon, where nature, heritage, and Provençal art de vivre come together. Starting from Gordes, with its iconic rocky setting and historic castle, you can wander through narrow streets and lavender fields. Lourmarin welcomes you with colorful houses, art galleries, and an elegant Renaissance château, while Ansouis enchants with medieval charm and film history. Roussillon showcases its unique ochre quarries and panoramic views, and Ménerbes offers serene squares and vineyards for gourmets. Don’t miss the smaller gems like Saignon, Lacoste, and Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, each with its own unique story and breathtaking views. The Luberon is a postcard brought to life.

The Ochre Massif
Discover the ochre massif of the Luberon, a breathtaking landscape bursting with colors and history. Just a 10–15 minute drive from the campsite, you can admire the Colorado Provençal in Rustrel and the Ochre Trail in Roussillon, where impressive shades from yellow to orange grace the rocks. Learn all about ochre pigment at the Ochre Museum of Roussillon, or step into the shoes of an adventurer in the Mines de Bruoux in Gargas and experience the life of a miner. A perfect mix of nature, culture, and adventure awaits you. Ready to let your creativity and spirit of discovery shine?
The Luberon Regional Nature Park
The Luberon Regional Nature Park is an exceptional area that carefully preserves its authenticity and offers a unique perspective on Provence. Just 20 minutes from the campsite, this park unveils a world of sublime panoramas and rich cultural heritage. Since 1998, the park has been part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the Global Geoparks Network, covering 155,000 hectares and spanning two departments with 77 municipalities. Hiking trails, sporting activities such as canoeing, climbing, and golf, as well as relaxing experiences like balloon flights, offer both active and contemplative visitors an unforgettable experience in this protected French landscape.
Fort de Buoux, Vallon de l’Aiguebrun & lavender
The Vallon de l’Aiguebrun is a small haven of wild, authentic nature where time seems to stand still. Take a walk along the river and navigate, with the family, along sometimes “risky” paths between imposing cliffs. Discover the remains of Fort de Buoux, which towers high above the valley. The open-air visit takes you straight back to the past and the view from the fort is among the wildest and most beautiful of the Luberon.
When in Provence... you of course cannot skip the lavender fields! Between late June and late July, the landscape transforms into a sea of purple lavender fields. Admire the fields at Plateau des Claparèdes, Plateau d’Albion or Plateau de Valensole and learn all about lavender at the Lavender Museum in Coustellet. Combine it with a visit to the Les Agnels distillery in Apt and experience the scent, color and local traditions up close.

A small, peaceful campground. The campsites are generally very small. There wasn’t even enough room for a caravan with an awning and an additional tent.
They have cottages on the higher part of the campground. Some of them are very luxurious, with a hot tub on the terrace and a beautiful view. Excellent restroom facilities with hot water and toilet paper.
A great pool at the right temperature, and there was always a lounge chair available. The restaurant is simple but neat. Because of my celiac disease, I asked if they could prepare gluten-free meals. It was possible, but quite a hassle. In the end, they gave me my own baguette wrapped in aluminum foil, which they finished baking for me. And they grilled various items for me (skewers weren’t an option because they used a beer marinade and didn’t have any unmarinated skewers)... French fries weren’t an option because they said there was a risk of cross-contamination.
Other than that, the food was great and I had no issues. The kitchen was kept clean.
There was live music during dinner.
The surroundings are beautiful with the lavender fields and the Omermine. The apartment itself wasn’t anything special. Roussillon is definitely worth a visit.
A great campground for a week.this is a translation, click here for the original

We had a wonderful stay at the campsite! A special thank you to Oceane, the animator, who made our holiday unforgettable. She is always smiling, friendly.
Her English is excellent, making everyone feel welcome. The Blind Test she organized was fantastic, with music for all ages and nationalities. We had so much fun!
Oceane is a real asset to the campsite. We are already looking forward to coming back in August to enjoy even more activities in thid campsite .
The pitch was nice and well located, although it was a bit rocky.
Thank you for these amazing memories—we can’t wait to return!
