Take Action in the French Alps
Be amazed by the beautiful nature of the Alpes de Haute Provence: rugged rock formations, crystal blue lakes and rivers, purple lavender fields and impressive Alpine peaks. The Haut Alpes is therefore ideal for an active holiday in the mountains. Canyoning is possible in various locations, for example just after La Valette towards Faurie on the D1075, a challenging option, or at the Rabouis, a playful canyon for the whole family. Via ferrata enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy, with beautiful routes such as those at La Berche and La Motte du Caire. There are canyoning and via ferrata options with or without guidance; ask about them at the reception. Discover the Gorges de la Méouge, where you can enjoy swimming, sliding off the rocks, and jumping into the water. It's actually one big water playground.
Discover the Alps by bike or on foot
The Hautes-Alpes are a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, with 1,800 km of Grandes Randonnées, 5,000 km of Petites Randonnées, and numerous Tours de Pays. Sporty hikers can climb the Pic de Bure at over 2,700 meters or explore the wild plateau of Céüze. Cyclists will also find plenty to enjoy in the Southern Alps, with famous passes such as the Col du Noyer, Col de Chabre, and Col de Mens, as well as challenging climbs like the Col de Carabès, Col d’Espréaux, and Mont Colombis. Thanks to the mild climate, long tours are possible from April onwards, for example through the Gorges de la Méouge or towards Gap. Around the campsite, there are also more than 46 mountain bike routes, totaling over 1,800 km for all levels.

We had a wonderful stay in a Ciela Nature tent. We were pleasantly surprised by the campground’s natural setting, the cleanliness of the restrooms, and the campground itself.
A quiet, relaxing campground that offers activities for all ages.
Sabrina and Jérôme are incredibly welcoming and attentive to guests.
Sylvain, Charlène, and Honorine are very welcoming at the restaurant—it’s a place we love to be because the atmosphere is so friendly.
Thanks to the staff who work so hard to keep the restrooms clean.

This camp site is away from the main roads up on a stunning hillside and clearly well maintained. Decent pitches with lots of room. Helpful reception and friendly staff
However what was advertised as a peaceful countryside camp had loud music and karaoke from about 2000 until after 2200. Maybe it was just Friday night and august. However spoiled the beautiful environs for me. Was also the most I had paid for a site of this level in France, ever. -

Hello. We stayed for a weekend and were very surprised by the quality, comfort, privacy, and space available at all the campsites. The welcome was excellent—there’s nothing to complain about; everything was perfect. They’ve turned this campground into a little paradise that’s 100% natural, and that’s truly appreciated. I recommend it without hesitation and will happily return. Personal note: Campgrounds are often criticized for poor hygiene in the restrooms, and every time that happens, it drives me crazy. How many times have I found the restrooms in a deplorable state because the previous user didn’t check the condition they left them in after using them? I think we should all make a point of leaving them as clean as we found them when we went in! ......

Bonjour.nous avons séjourné un weekend et on a été très surpris par la qualité le confort la discrétion et l'espace mis à la disposition de tous les emplacements. Très bon accueil il y a rien à redire, tout était parfait .ils ont fait de ce camping un petit paradis 100 % nature et c'est vraiment appréciable, je le recommande sans hésiter et j'y retournerai avec beaucoup de plaisir . Note perso : on reproche souvent à tous les campings que l'hygiène des sanitaires laisse à désirer et à chaque fois ça me met hors de moi.combien de fois j'ai trouvé les toilettes déplorables parce que la personne n'a pas vérifié l'état dans lequel elle les as laissé après son passage ; je pense qu'on devrait faire nous même attention de les laisser aussi propre qu'on les as trouvé en y entrant ! ......

A nice campground, a very beautiful spot, and a comfortable mobile home. Stunning views and a lovely area with plenty to do. The staff was very friendly, and the pool was a blast for our 4- and 7-year-old children.
