Summary created out of 232 reviews
The location at the Biggesee is beautiful with walking and cycling opportunities in the immediate surroundings. Guests appreciate the peace and nature, although the campsite is clearly in transition with many cordoned-off areas and construction work. The sanitary facilities are a major point for improvement: guests complain about black mould in shower grouting, insufficient hot water during busy periods, and too little toilet capacity because one sanitary building is closed. Staff receive mixed reviews – some experience friendliness and helpfulness, others feel unwelcome or get insufficient response to complaints. There is hardly any entertainment or catering, which is disappointing for families with children.

The cottage was fine, and the beds were comfortable. The floor could have been cleaned better. The windows were open and touching each other, and dust was coming out from underneath them everywhere. There was a vacuum cleaner, so I just did it myself. This was because we had people with asthma and a dog with a dust mite allergy. Beautiful surroundings, especially for people who enjoy hiking and water sports.

Huisje prima, bedden goed.

We stayed there for four nights with our trailer.
Unfortunately, I have to say that I didn’t expect the site to be like that. Many of the sites are in very poor condition.
In our row, it was still somewhat OK. At least you could park the trailer there—though it was a struggle. It wasn’t possible at all without a wedge under the … jockey wheel. Plus, there was a lot of gravel on the site.
The large one, though, is OK. The surrounding wash houses are an absolute nightmare. The main building is relatively okay. A lot of mold and not enough maintenance, in my opinion.
The bread roll service is satisfactory. The store mentioned on the website is a joke.
There’s no restaurant on the grounds.
The beach is adjacent to the campground and is within easy walking distance. There’s a small bistro there. It’s good.
The ladies at the reception desk are friendly and helpful.
We had our peace and quiet here, which is why we stayed. I’m very disappointed with the comfort and cleanliness.
Oh, and I had specifically booked and paid for this campsite because of the nearby washhouse. I could have saved myself the trouble. It was closed. Totally run-down.
We’ll see if there’s going to be a next time.this is a translation, click here for the original

Our family rented a chalet at EuroParcs Biggesee for ten days and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, everything was well organized, and since we could park the car right in front of the chalet, unloading was easy.
The chalet was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. There was a nice playground nearby for the kids—we think it was … brand new. There are also table tennis tables, and the park is within walking distance of the beautiful Biggesee.
We had brought a SUP with us and were able to easily order a second one through Amazon and have it delivered to the front desk. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We also really appreciated the option to pick up fresh rolls at the front desk every day.
The park’s location is wonderfully peaceful. The surrounding area is perfect for swimming, hiking, biking, and exploring the forests and mountains. My son and I took a beautiful hike through the mountains, which he absolutely loved.
There’s plenty to see and do in the area, though you’ll need a car for most outings. We had a fantastic vacation here and can definitely recommend EuroParcs Biggesee!this is a translation, click here for the original
