Looking for a real camping experience with just that extra comfort? Then this bell tent is ideal! Because the Belltents are in the middle of nature, you can enjoy all the beauty that Germany's nature has to offer. The tent has an outdoor kitchenette, crockery, kitchen inventory and a double bed. The tent is suitable for 2 persons, but it is also possible to accommodate 2 children if you bring your own air mattress and sleeping bag. There is an automatic surcharge of €5 per extra person per night. Pets are unfortunately not allowed in this accommodation. There are two bell tents on the campsite. Number 1 is slightly lower down, near a stream. Number 2, is slightly higher on a hill, near the forest.

Camping De Drei Spatzen is a small-scale, peaceful nature campsite in the South Eifel with Dutch owners André and Maaike who are praised for their hospitality and helpfulness. The park is beautifully situated in a small valley surrounded by nature with a babbling brook, spacious pitches and direct access to walking trails through the forests. The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily and the restaurant serves surprisingly good, varied dishes with a cozy terrace where guests can enjoy drinks and meals.

    The campground had been on my list for a while, so I decided to pay it a visit this Easter weekend. For the owners, the Easter weekend marked the start of the camping season.

    The campground is beautifully situated in a natural setting. I was there with my tent and stayed on the tent field next to a small stream. The sound of the water … flowing in the stream is soothing. On the other side of the stream, there are mainly caravans and RVs. The restroom facility is a bit dated, but it’s perfectly adequate and clean. There’s a bistro at the campground where you can order simple dishes. Mainly schnitzel variations, but also rump steak, salads, a few fish dishes, and vegetarian options.

    There are beautiful walks to take starting from the campground. But there are also many walks to enjoy in the surrounding area, particularly near the border with Luxembourg.

    In short: a great campground—especially for those seeking peace and quiet.

    De camping stond al even op het lijstje en daarom dit Paasweekend maar eens een bezoek gebracht. Het Paasweekend was voor de eigenaren de start van het kampeerseizoen.

    De camping ligt erg mooi in een natuurlijke omgeving. Zelf was ik met de tent en verbleef op het tentenveld aan een klein beekje. Het gekletter van het water in de beem is rustgevend. Aan de overzijde van de beek staan voornamelijk caravans en campers. Het toiletgebouw is wat verouderd, maar voldoet prima en is schoon. Er is een bistro bij de camping, waar je eenvoudige gerechten kan bestellen. Voornamelijk snitzel variaties, maar ook Rumpsteak, salades, enkele visgerechten en vegetarische gerechten.

    Vanaf de camping zijn er mooie wandelingen te maken. Maar ook in de omgeving, zo rond de grens met Luxemburg zijn er vele wandelingen te maken.

    Kortom: een prima camping - zeker voor rustzoekers.

    A wonderful campground in a beautiful location, conveniently situated halfway between Vianden and Bitburg. A great base for excursions in the southern Eifel, but Luxembourg, Trier, and even the Moselle region are also nearby. Spacious sites along the stream, shaded by trees. Ample restroom facilities, very clean. Friendly staff and a nice … restaurant. Excellent Wi-Fi. Entertainment (in Dutch) for the little ones. A wonderful, laid-back atmosphere for a relaxing vacation in nature. We’ll definitely be back.

    Heerlijke camping op een mooie plek, gunstig gelegen halverwege tussen Vianden en Bitburg. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de zuid Eifel, maar ook Luxemburg, Trier en zelfs het Moezelgebied zijn niet ver weg. Grote plaatsen aan de beek met schaduw van wat bomen. Voldoende sanitair, zeer schoon. Vriendelijk beheer en fijn restaurant. Prima wifi. Animatie (nederlands) voor de kleintjes. Heerlijke ongedwongen sfeer voor een relaxte vakantie in de natuur. Wij komen zeker terug.

    Charming family-run campsite in South Eifel! The facilities, though a bit old-fashioned, are spotless and well-maintained. We especially loved the great showers and the incredibly friendly and helpful owners. The restaurant food and bread service were excellent, and it's a perfect spot for walking and day trips. Highly recommend!

    For a relatively small campground, it’s a little gem. Super friendly owners and staff!
    Beautiful surroundings, and despite the drought, there were still lovely and comfortable spots.

    The restrooms are in great shape—always clean and with nice showers.

    The restaurant had a slightly adjusted menu due to the heat, and even that was delicious.

    We’ll definitely be back!

    Voor een relatief kleine camping een kleine parel. Super aardige uitbaters en personeel!
    Prachtige omgeving en ondanks de droogte toch mooie en fijne plekken.

    Sanitair is super op orde, altijd schoon en fijne douches.

    Restaurant had door warmte een iets aangepast menu en zelfs dat was heerlijk.

    Komen hier zeker terug!

    A beautiful campground with friendly owners. We were parked on the hill, and it was wonderful to enjoy the peace and quiet and the unspoiled nature. The robins around the tent made it perfect.
    There’s plenty to do in the area. You’ll spot deer and foxes around the campground.
    Although the building looks a bit dated, everything was very clean. Highly recommended!

    Een mooie camping met vriendelijke eigenaren. Wij stonden op de heuvel en het was heerlijk om te kunnen genieten van de rust en pure natuur. De roodborstjes om de tent maakten het compleet.
    In de omgeving is veel te doen. Rondom de camping kom je reetjes en vossen tegen.
    Ondanks dat het gebouw wat gedateerd oogt was alles prima schoon. Een aanrader!
