Camp Kyllburg is idyllically located along the river Kyll in a beautiful valley in the Eifel. Guests particularly appreciate the spacious pitches directly by the water, the very clean and modern sanitary facilities, and the warm Dutch owners who work with great personal attention. The bread delivery service with a friendly greeting on the bag and the food truck with delicious Kyllburgers are popular. The campsite is child-friendly with toys and bikes available, and dogs are warmly welcomed. The access road is narrow and steep, requiring extra attention upon arrival.

    A beautifully situated campground on the Kyll River. You can get into the water from anywhere on the campground—for example, to float along with the current on an air mattress or just to cool off for a bit. The restrooms are very spacious and clean, and the campsites are large with plenty of shaded areas. There was a wide selection of ice cream available. You can also get food there, though I don’t have any personal experience with that.
    Very friendly owners. My car had to be towed away due to a breakdown, and they were very understanding and offered to help if I needed it later on.
    Fun fact: Apparently, I also went on vacation at this campground with my parents and sisters back in 1992! I didn’t know this until I told my mom that I’d booked a spot at this campground. What a coincidence!!

    Prachtig gelegen camping aan rivier de Kyll. Je kan vanaf elk punt op de camping het water in. Bijvoorbeeld om op een luchtbed met de stroming mee te drijven of om gewoon even af te koelen. Het sanitair is heel ruim en netjes en de kampeerplaatsen zijn groot met veel schaduwplekken. Er was een ruime keus aan ijsjes te krijgen. Ook kan er eten gehaald worden. Met dit laatste heb ik alleen geen ervaring.
    Heel vriendelijke eigenaren. Mijn auto was met pech weg gesleept en er werd heel aardig mee gedacht en hulp geboden wanneer dit later nodig zou blijken te zijn.
    Leuk detail: blijkbaar ben ik in 1992 samen met mijn ouders en zussen ook op vakantie geweest op deze camping! Dit wist ik niet totdat ik mijn moeder vertelde dat ik een plek op deze camping had geboekt. Hoe toevallig!!
