Just 4 km from the campsite lies the impressive Dinosaur Park Teufelsschlucht. Here, you walk along a 1.5 km path past more than 170 life-sized dinosaurs – from the famous T. rex to lesser-known species. Along the way you’ll discover interactive stations, a dino cinema, and the Forscher-Camp for children. In the PaleoLab, you can examine fossils yourself, ideal for curious explorers of all ages. South Eifel Nature Park

South Eifel Nature Park is less than 5 km from the campsite and is a true hiking paradise. With over 700 km of marked hiking trails, the park offers routes for every level: from short, relaxing walks to challenging day hikes. Popular routes such as the Felsenweg 5 and 6 take you past impressive sandstone gorges, quiet forests, and beautiful viewpoints. There are also routes for families or relaxed walkers, such as walk 77 near Brimingen (6.3 km) through flower-filled meadows and forests. Eifelpark Gundolf

Fly over the hills on the summer toboggan run, brave the wild water ride, or take a spin on the family roller coaster. In the animal park, you'll come face to face with bears, deer, lynxes, meerkats, and more. There are themed playgrounds, water play areas, and daily shows and treasure hunts for kids. Müllerthal

Just a 15-minute drive from the campsite lies the fairytale Müllerthal, also known as Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland — a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. The region is famed for its impressive sandstone formations, lush forests, winding stream valleys, and enchanting gorges. The famous Müllerthal Trail stretches for 112 km via three loops, each with unique landscapes full of rocky cliffs, mosses, and viewpoints. In addition to the main route, there are four extra routes for those who want shorter or themed hikes. Everywhere you’ll find tranquility, nature, and panoramic views. Perfect for a day hike in the fresh outdoors, close to the campsite. It’s no coincidence that the campsite has been repeatedly awarded as the best hiking campsite!

The campsite is beautifully situated along the Sauer River, directly opposite the historic town of Echternach in Luxembourg, and offers spacious grass pitches. Guests appreciate the central location with shops and restaurants within walking distance, the heated swimming pool, and the friendly welcome. Sanitary facilities are cleaned daily, although visitors note that one cleaning round per day can sometimes be insufficient during busy periods. The campsite is popular with families and ideally located for hiking in the Mullerthal region.

    Large campground right next to the river, within walking distance of downtown. A Norma supermarket, a Dietz bakery, a Rossmann, and a flower shop are located across from the campground, which is quite convenient. There are 4 restroom blocks. Our restroom block was clean, but we only had cold water for 4 out of 6 days.
    The campground feels a bit … uninviting because there are no hedges anywhere… everyone’s parked right up against each other. If you’re parked by the water, people are constantly walking across your spot to get to the boat or something. It would be better to provide a path to the main road at some of the “mooring points.” There’s also virtually no lighting in the evenings.
    The annual sites all look neglected. The weeds and grass are tall between the caravans—it doesn’t make a neat impression.
    In terms of value for money, I find the campground to be on the pricier side. You are, however, close to the more well-known hiking trails in the Mullertal.

    Grote camping vlak langs de rivier, op loopafstand van het centrum. Supermarkt norma , bakker dietz, rossmann en bloemenwinkel liggen tegenover de camping wat wel makkelijk is. Er zijn 4 sanitair blokken. Onze sanitair blok was op zich proper maar had 4 van de 6 dagen koud water.
    De camping is ietwat ongezellig doordat er nergens haagjes staan..je staat allemaal vlak tegen elkaar. Sta je aan het water lopen ze constant over je stuk om er met de boot ofzo uit te kunnen. Beter op sommige "aanmeer punten een pad naar de middenweg te voorzien. ' savonds ook zo goed als geen verlichting.
    Jaarplaatsen zien er allemaal onverzorgd uit. Tussrn de caravans staat het onkruid en gras hoog, geen nette indruk.
    Prijs/kwaliteit vind ik de camping aan de duurdere kant. Je zit wel dicht bij de bekendere wandelingen in het mullertal.

    The campsite is open from March 28 to November 3 and is divided into three seasons:

    Low season: 28.03 – 27.05

    Main season: 28.05 – 03.07 & 25.08 – 07.09

    High season: 04.07 – 24.08

    Late season: 08.09 – 03.11

  2. When are the barriers open?

    The barriers are open daily from 07:00 to 22:00.

  3. What are the opening hours of the reception?

    The swimming pool is open from 28.05 to 07.09, daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

    Sanitary buildings B and G are open from 23.05 to 14.09. Private sanitary units (shower, sink, and toilet) are available for an additional fee per day (on request/reservation).

    Washing and drying is possible daily from 09:00 to 18:00. Tokens are available at the reception.

  7. Are dogs welcome in the park?

    Pets are welcome at Campingpark Echternacherbrück. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and must be registered at the reception upon arrival. Dog waste bags are available at the entrances of the campsite. For fighting dogs, a muzzle is mandatory according to municipal regulations. In the high and low season, a maximum of two dogs is allowed. There are no additional costs for bringing dogs. In addition, there is a special dog park where your pet can play safely.

  8. Are there facilities such as a supermarket, restaurant, or bakery at the campsite?

    Yes, the campsite has a Camping-Bistro where you can get your meals. You can also dine at the adjacent beer garden. In the morning, a baker comes to deliver fresh bread rolls. There is also a discount supermarket about 300 meters away and in the surrounding area you will find various restaurants offering both German and international cuisine.

  9. What are the check-in and check-out times for Camping Echternacherbrück?
    The check-in at Camping Echternacherbrück can be done between 15:00 and 18:00. The checkout should be done between 08:00 and 10:00.
