I gave the rooms a 1 because, at 2 meters tall, I had to shower on my knees, so in my opinion, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's 2 meters tall.
M (the entertainment is spectacular), and even going to the bathroom to wash your face is a hassle (there are no bidets).

We’ve been visiting Spina Camping Village for several years now, and unfortunately, it feels like the quality is gradually getting worse, while prices keep going up.
The main issue concerns the overall upkeep of the facility. The bathrooms are cleaned, but often only superficially: the same stains remain on the doors and walls of the showers … for weeks, and there’s no sense that they’ve been truly cleaned and disinfected. The situation with the portable toilets is even worse; we’ve seen them dirty, poorly lit, clogged, and with dirty water leaking into the squat toilet area on multiple occasions. At a campground frequented by so many families, there should be much more attention paid to these details.
The pools have also become very chaotic. The whirlpool and relaxation areas are often used for diving, games, and balls without sufficient supervision. The Olympic-sized pool, which used to be one of the few quieter options, has been largely taken over by a huge inflatable, significantly reducing the available space. During the hottest weeks, we also noticed that the water tended to turn green, and the pool showers were frequently out of service.
The campground is dog-friendly, which is a positive thing, but the presence of dogs has become so widespread that at times it almost seems as if there’s no longer a true balance between the needs of all guests.
The equipped beach is underutilized and not very convenient for reaching the water, while on the public beach, you frequently come across glass bottles and trash. The beach shuttle service also deserves much more attention in terms of vehicle maintenance and safety.
In our opinion, the prices at the bar and restaurant are really quite high.
What is most disappointing, however, is the customer service. Constant announcements over the megaphone, reminders about wristbands and schedules, and communication that is often unwelcoming make it difficult to experience the relaxed atmosphere one seeks on vacation.
For seasonal campers, this feeling is even stronger: they spend over 4,000 euros on a campsite, in addition to everything they consume within the campground, yet they feel increasingly overlooked. Even the traditional welcome reception for seasonal campers was so scaled back this year that it was almost embarrassing: a small glass of sparkling wine, a slice of watermelon, and little else.
The real shame is that Spina has enormous potential and is set in a beautiful natural setting. Precisely for this reason, those who have been visiting for years notice the decline in maintenance, upkeep, and customer service even more acutely.
The bottom line is simple: you pay more and more but get less and less. We truly hope that management will once again invest in the essentials: cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and listening to guests. Read more Show less

The accommodations were dirty and in need of renovation, unlike many other renovated accommodations (I don’t know what condition they’re in). The bar staff were lackadaisical and unprofessional, and the entertainment was lacking. The location could generally be considered a drawback, as it’s far from the town center. For us, however, the location was excellent—the kids are safe in the resort, and security is very present.

My wife, our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, and I are currently still at this resort and are actually still in the middle of our vacation. Or so we thought. Because we’ve since decided to leave early tomorrow, even though we had originally booked our stay through August 31, 2026.

The resort’s location is really … beautiful. But that’s about it when it comes to the positives.

Right upon arrival, you get a taste of what’s in store: The staff assigns you a spot somewhere on the huge grounds and then basically leaves you to figure out on your own where you’re actually supposed to go. We weren’t even shown to our accommodations—a small bungalow. Directions to get there? None.

Even better: The location we were assigned was simply wrong. So first we had to wait until, at some point, someone deigned to take us to our actual accommodations. Of course, this happened right at the time when we—with our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter—would have wanted to have already started the evening routine of “putting the kid to bed.”

Things continued in the same spirit at the accommodation: The toilet flush handle was hanging in the bathroom, the towels and sheets we’d ordered weren’t ready, and overall, a lot of it gave the impression of “it’ll work out somehow” rather than a 4-star resort.

But now comes the absolute highlight: THE DAMN EVENING ENTERTAINMENT AND THE MUSIC!

It sometimes goes on until MIDNIGHT and is so loud that you really wonder if you accidentally booked your vacation at a festival. You don’t even have to participate in the entertainment—the entire program is involuntarily delivered right to your bungalow.

And the best part: The resort advertises itself as family-friendly.

Perhaps the term “family-friendly” should be reevaluated here. Just try putting a two-and-a-half-year-old to sleep with all that noise. It’s practically impossible.

We understand that there’s entertainment. We also understand that music plays on vacation and there are evening activities. But at some point, even a family-friendly resort should realize that not every guest wants to be subjected to constant noise at night—especially families with small children.

In any case, we’re done here. We’re leaving tomorrow—early—despite having a reservation through August 31, 2026.

And this at a resort that boasts a 4-star rating while heavily promoting its family-friendliness.

Honestly: We’ve rarely realized so quickly why a beautiful location alone is far from enough to make a good vacation spot.

It’s a real shame about the money, the lost vacation time, and above all, our family’s disappointment.
