Between the Ligurian mountains and the sea at Camping Delle Rose
Camping Delle Rose is located in Isolabona, in the Nervia Valley in Liguria, a few kilometres from the beaches of the Riviera dei Fiori. Between the mountains and the sea, you will find two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, and a solarium where you can dry off after a dip. During the summer months, there is an entertainment programme, and elsewhere on the site you will find a bar, a pizzeria, a playground and the La Bottega di Lorena grocery store. Pets are welcome, so your four-legged friend can join you for walks through the valley. Nearby are villages such as Dolceacqua, Bajardo and Apricale, as well as the small lakes of Rocchetta Nervina, all accessible via walking and cycling paths from the park. Those who want to explore the villages can simply set off on foot; the car can comfortably stay where it is.

Walk through historic Isolabona
Isolabona is located right next to the campsite and is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in the Val Nervia. Stroll through the narrow alleyways, discover old stone houses and visit the historic church in the compact centre. Thanks to its peaceful atmosphere and riverside location, it is a wonderful place to wander around at your leisure. End your visit on a terrace and enjoy the authentic Ligurian atmosphere.

Taste the olive oil of the Val Nervia
The slopes around Isolabona are covered with Taggiasca olive trees, the variety that gives Ligurian olive oil its mild, nutty flavour. At local agriturismi in the valley, you can buy oil directly from the producer, often accompanied by a piece of focaccia for tasting. The small mill in Dolceacqua operates at full capacity during the olive season and welcomes visitors; outside the season, the shop is simply open. Bring an empty bottle and have it filled.
Take a dip in natural pools
Rocchetta Nervina is a popular destination for nature lovers thanks to the clear Nervia River and the natural pools that have formed among the rocks. Via a walking trail, you can reach several swimming spots where you can cool off in the fresh mountain water on hot summer days. Bring a picnic and find a spot along the bank, while the babbling water and green surroundings create a relaxing atmosphere. The route to the pools leads through a beautiful valley with bridges, forests and impressive rock formations. Those who prefer to be active can also explore the area on a hiking or mountain biking tour. Thanks to its combination of nature, tranquillity and swimming opportunities, Rocchetta Nervina is one of the finest excursions in the Val Nervia.
Relax in the thermal baths of Pigna
Pigna is a short distance from the campsite and is known for its natural thermal springs. In the hot-water pools, you can enjoy mineral-rich spring water that has been valued for centuries for its relaxing effects. After visiting the thermal baths, stroll through the charming historic centre, where narrow streets, old stone houses and cosy squares recall the village's medieval past. Take a seat on a terrace for an espresso or sample a typical Ligurian dish in one of the local restaurants. Thanks to its combination of wellness, culture and its beautiful location in the green Val Nervia, Pigna is an ideal destination for a relaxing day during your holiday.

A very cozy and pleasant campground. The staff seemed a little worn out from the busy summer, but other than that, it's great! Especially considering the location.

Heel gezellige en fijne camping. Personeel leek een beetje uitgeblust van de drukke zomer, maar verder is het top! Zeker gezien locatie ook.

An absolutely positive experience. The campground is very beautiful, with attention to every detail, and the common areas and campsites are excellently organized. The spot for the tent was very comfortable, with hedges separating the various campsites. The pool is small but very nice, and the restrooms are always clean, bright, and modern. The … staff was friendly and professional. The only downside, in my opinion, was that the parking lot was a bit small. The location is excellent—in the hills, 10 minutes from the sea, and just a few minutes from villages that are definitely worth visiting. We’ll be back, and I highly recommend it.

Esperienza assolutamente positiva.

Three days ago I went to the pool... Unfortunately, the experience at the restaurant was really bad, especially because of the staff’s total lack of organization and professionalism.
The restaurant was by no means full, nor was the pool, and yet we sat there for 30 minutes waiting for the menu, which was brought to us only after we asked for … it. What’s even more absurd is that, even after we finally ordered and received our two sandwiches, the table was never set: no napkins, nothing at all. When it came time to pay, while I was at the register, the guy who worked with her in the dining room said something to her, and she replied very rudely in front of the customers. I believe that certain behaviors and arguments among staff should remain out of customers’ sight.
Another rather unpleasant incident: the waitress told the kitchen that a customer wanted to change her dessert, and the person she told this to started yelling, saying she certainly couldn’t just throw the food in the trash. I can fully understand that changing an order can create a problem, but it’s unacceptable to yell like that in front of all the customers.
I fully understand that this is a poolside restaurant and that one can’t expect the service of a Michelin-starred restaurant, but a minimum level of organization, courtesy, and professionalism in the restaurant industry should always be present.this is a translation, click here for the original

While the campsite grounds themselves are lovely, the service and management are an absolute disaster. The staff—mostly unmotivated teenagers—are consistently disrespectful and hostile toward families.
The overall atmosphere is unprofessional and stressful:
Disturbances & Safety: Late-night noise from the bar is a major issue. We even … witnessed a screaming match between the chef and another man at the bar in front of young children, which escalated until the police were called.
Pool Mismanagement: The lifeguard routinely kicks guests out at 6:50 PM, refusing entry despite official posted hours stating the pool is open until 7:00 PM.
Inhospitable Policies: Guests are forced to pay for drinks at the bar immediately upon sitting down, creating an unwelcome atmosphere of distrust.
It is extremely disappointing to see such a nice location ruined by deplorable service. We will definitely not be returning. -

I felt cheated. I had booked for two nights, but I let them know that I would only be staying one night—yet they still charged me for two nights.
