We’re now on our way home after a fantastic week at this campground. The cottages are super clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable, and the campground is clean. There are tons of amenities, and the pools are wonderful. I would definitely recommend this campground, especially if you have kids. After a roughly 10-hour drive to this vacation home, we had to check in at the front desk. Unfortunately, they only spoke English or Italian. The check-in process was like working through a 10-step plan. We were told that our luggage, including small strollers, could be transported. The walk from the parking lot to the accommodation was very long … and uphill. It’s not always possible to park the car close enough to have a short walk to the accommodation. This is also something to keep in mind for larger shopping trips. The bungalow itself is very nice. We booked one that sleeps 6 people, but there were only 3 of us and 1 dog (dogs are allowed). So in terms of size, it was just right for us. We were very satisfied. There are different classes of bungalows. You have to explore the resort yourself. There’s also a small supermarket on the grounds. There’s an app—unfortunately not available in German—that provides a lot of information. The pool areas are, of course, the go-to spot for families and are wonderful for cooling off. There’s a bike rental service and beautiful bike paths along the river. The floor is raised, making it almost completely impassable.

The water is dirty; we even found strands of hair.

The flooring leading to the pools is raised in many places.

We went to dinner at the resort’s pizzeria, “Bella Italia,” where they promised Neapolitan pizza, but it had nothing to do with authentic Neapolitan pizza. … They’re deceiving tourists, especially foreigners.

The parking lots are quite far away and not very convenient.

I should also add that they forced us to stay for 7 nights, while other guests were allowed to stay for only 3 nights.

In my opinion, given the size of the resort and the number of people it can accommodate, the pools are a bit small and the transportation options within the resort are somewhat limited. But overall, the staff was very friendly, and the cottage was very cozy and clean. Read more Show less
