In short, this campground is a diamond in the rough. It’s a large complex; those looking for peace and privacy should look elsewhere.

It has great potential with an ideal location—close enough to downtown and right on the lake, which is its biggest asset. A substantial water park and plenty of amenities to suit all … tastes (mini-golf, amusement park, stores, restaurants, shops, pharmacy...).
The campground is pleasant, tree-lined, and has everything you need.
However, everything is in fair condition—what a shame. More attention to maintenance and the little details would transform this place into a gem. It wouldn’t take much to make everything perfect.

Our mobile home was dirty and very poorly equipped, even though everything could have been top-notch.
Happy Camp agency offers no customer service—just the bare minimum—which is a shame. The cleaning is sloppy, and there’s no follow-up when guests clean up after themselves.
The restaurants and facilities are poorly maintained, even though everything could be great!
The value for money during our stay still encourages us to stay positive.
Special mention goes to the entertainment team—they’re professional, dedicated, and motivated, and they really transported the kids into their own world; kudos to them.
If the price is right, this campground will do the trick, but paying top dollar will certainly leave you disappointed by the end of your stay. Read more Show less

"WARNING: SCAM"

Disappointing vacation—not worth 5 stars!

We stayed at the Bella Italia campground in Peschiera del Garda from July 29 to August 9, 2026, with two adults and two children. Unfortunately, our stay was one big disappointment.

By far the biggest problem was a complete power outage lasting about 30 hours across the … entire campground. With outside temperatures around 40 degrees, we were stuck in our trailer without power. The refrigerator wasn’t working, so we had to throw away our food, there was no hot water, and we couldn’t cool down the trailer. The pool area also couldn’t be used because the filtration system was down.

It was particularly disappointing that the campground management didn’t offer any reasonable assistance or alternative solution.

But even aside from the power outage, there were significant shortcomings:

- Very dirty restrooms and sanitary facilities.
- Generally poor cleanliness throughout the entire campground.
- Pitching areas that were far too small and, in some cases, very steep.
- Chaotic search for a spot with no fixed assignments.
- Significant noise pollution, with no adequate intervention by the staff.
- Unreliable Wi-Fi.

For a so-called 5-star campground, what we experienced there was absolutely disappointing.

We had been looking forward to a nice family vacation in Italy. Instead, we had to deal with conditions that, in our opinion, are unacceptable in this price range and for a 5-star campground.

We brought the issues to the attention of campground management during our stay, but unfortunately, we received no real assistance!

Our conclusion: We had expected much more. We don’t think the value for money is there at all. Based on our experience, we wouldn’t book this campground again and, unfortunately, cannot recommend it to others. Read more Show less

We're traveling in our RV, and if we're lucky enough to stay for two more days at this time of year, then it'll be time for the winter break. Everyone here is super nice—there are spacious campsites, a heated restroom facility, and we have a great view.

We stayed there for two weeks in September as a family with two children in a 6-person mobile home. Unfortunately, it was VERY dirty, so we had to give it a thorough cleaning first so we could feel more comfortable. We really liked the campground. Beautiful trees that provide plenty of shade and a great atmosphere. Lots of great activities for … kids. The pool area is a dream for kids, but… it was very cold in September despite an outside temperature of 28 degrees… so we only managed to really work up the courage to go in once. We also liked the lake, but in September it was too cold for us to swim. Beautiful area. There’s so much to explore. We went on some great excursions and experienced a lot. Venice wasn’t too far away either, so we visited it on a day trip. The campground is significantly more expensive during peak season, but overall it’s still highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back someday with our RV :-) Read more Show less

A beautiful campground with an attached hotel.
Very nice pools with water slides for both adults and children. A well-stocked supermarket. Very good restaurants. Plenty of attractions for children. Located right on the lake, and the center of Peschiera is just a 15-minute walk away.
