We were supposed to stay here for 6 nights but ended up leaving a day early. The website talks about peace and relaxation. Unfortunately, I can’t quite agree with that. Yes, it’s a beautiful, green setting. But as soon as it gets quiet, you realize you’re right next to the highway. Even though you have to drive 15 minutes through the campground to … get to the highway. The restroom building is a bit outdated but works just fine. The staff is very friendly, especially the man who helps you find a nice spot. For the last two days, there was a huge group of Dutch teenagers who, unfortunately, made a lot of noise both in the evening and very early in the morning. We found this very disappointing. Fortunately, when I reported it to the staff in the evening, they handled it very well.
In short, if you want to book a campground in a green area but don’t mind a bit of noise, then it’s fine. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation, though, I wouldn’t recommend it.
Oh, and when we left a day early, we were told at checkout, “I see everything’s been paid for—that’s perfectly fine.” Still, it’s a bit of a shame that they didn’t notice we’d left early…this is a translation, click here for the original
Wij zouden hier 6 nachten verblijven maar zijn uiteindelijk een dagje eerder weg gegaan. Op de website wordt geschreven over rust en relaxen. Helaas kan ik dit niet helemaal beamen. Ja het is een mooie groene omgeving. Maar zodra het stil is, hoor je dat je pal aan de snelweg ligt. Ookal moet je 15 minuten binnen door rijden om op de snelweg te komen. Het toilet gebouw is wat verouderd maar voldoet wel prima. Personeel is erg vriendelijk, vooral de man die je helpt om een mooie plek te vinden. De laatste 2 dagen was er een enorme groep met Nederlandse jongeren die helaas in de avond maar ook juist vroeg in de ochtend veel herrie veroorzaakte. Dit vonden wij erg jammer. Gelukkig toen ik in de avond melding maakte bij het personeel werd dit heel goed opgepakt.
Kortom wil je een camping boeken in een groen gebied maar maakt je wat herrie niet uit, dan is het prima. Ben je opzoek naar rust en relaxen, dan zou ik het niet snel aanbevelen.
Owja en toen we een dag eerder weg gingen, kregen we bij uitchecken te horen, ik zie dat alles betaald is, helemaal prima zo. Toch een beetje jammer dat er niet werd opgemerkt dat we eerder vetrokken... -
