A real gem of a campground. Reasons? Number 1 might just be the pool with its amazing view, comfortable chairs, and plenty of space. It’s also impressive how this fairly large campground still feels intimate. Maybe we timed our visit well because it wasn’t crowded. But thanks to the number of restroom buildings (in perfect condition) and two swimming pools, it never felt too big. Exactly what we were looking for. We always enjoy terrace-style campgrounds, and this one is laid out in a crisscross pattern. We got to choose from 5 options (awesome!). Some spots have more shade than others, but then you get a view in return. The reception desk is open late, very accessible, and the staff is friendly (they let us borrow an extension cord because even with our long cable, we needed some help). The adjacent restaurant serves good food and is also a nice place to have a drink or relax.

Een parel van een camping. Redenen?

I can’t comment on the rooms since I stayed there in a tent. The campground is top-notch, with well-maintained, shaded campsites and modern, spotlessly clean restrooms. I ate at the restaurant, and the food was very good, though a bit pricey. There are magnificent swimming pools—it’s a shame they close at 6:30 p.m. and swimming caps are required. In any case, it’s a very beautiful place nestled in the Sibillini Mountains.
