Wander the streets of historic Italian cities
Walk through historic streets, admire the hilly countryside from viewpoints, see art in museums and enjoy fresh pasta and pizza. Italian cities offer everything for a fun family outing. Several beautiful cities surround the glamping Punta Navaccia, including Arezzo, Montepulciano, Perugia, Assisi, and Siena. So the glamping in Umbria is a good base should you want to visit these cities. Enjoy an Italian wine, wander through the historic centers, and order a refreshing scoop of Italian ice cream. After a day on the road, relax in the luxury safari tents at the glamping site!

The thermal baths of Bagni di San Filippo
Just over an hour in the car and you will arrive at the thermal baths of Bagni di San Filippo. The baths are located in a wooded area and some parts of the water are as high as 40 degrees. The smell takes some getting used to, but once you've rubbed yourself with the white sulfurous mud you'll enjoy a special day in and beside the water.
Enjoying music at Umbria Jazz
For decades, Umbria Jazz has been organized during the month of July. During this jazz festival in Perugia, several artists take the stage. From solo artists to groups, great shows await you for almost an entire week. Are you a music lover? Then it is definitely worth seeing if you can combine your vacation with a visit to the festival.
Water sports and adventure at Lake Trasimeno
Just a short walk from this glamping site with luxury safari tents is Lake Trasimeno, the largest lake in central and southern Italy. In addition to relaxing on the beach, building sandcastles, or taking a dip in the water, you are also in the right place for various water sports. Windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing, and sailing, it's all possible! From the glamping, they organize different activities like boat trips or even a boat race, but you can also go on your own adventure. Go by boat to Maggiore Island where a number of restaurants can be found, or spend a day sailing around the lake. It's hard to sit still when you're vacationing at this beautiful Italian lake!

Summary created out of 247 reviews
The campsite is run by three warm-hearted sisters who welcome guests with genuine hospitality and personal care. Its location directly on Lake Trasimeno is beautiful and peaceful, offering lovely views and serving as an ideal base for exploring cities like Perugia and Assisi. The pool and entertainment are appreciated, especially by families with children. However, many note maintenance issues: sanitary facilities and accommodations are dated, there are many insects (particularly mosquitoes), and parts of the campsite and lake itself appear neglected.

Piscina carina. Personale alla reception molto gentile.

1 star – we’ll definitely never go back.
I’ve traveled a lot and seen quite a bit, but I’ve rarely been so shocked by other people’s behavior in my life as I was at this campground.
My girlfriend and I were walking back from the restaurant completely peacefully. We didn’t know the people in question, hadn’t had any argument with them, and hadn’t provoked them either.
Nevertheless, we were suddenly and intentionally doused with water from several buckets and bottles by a group of adults and children.
We were completely soaked from head to toe afterward. Our clothes, bag, cell phone, and car keys were completely drenched.
What was even worse for us: It wasn’t just a few kids who played a bad prank and were then restrained by their parents.
Quite the opposite.
As far as we could tell, the adults neither stopped nor restrained the children. Not a single apology was offered. Instead, in some cases the children were even egged on, and the adults joined in themselves.
To me, that says it all about the level of behavior we experienced here.
No consideration. No respect. No manners. Not even a hint of decency.
Based on our experience, anyone looking for a quiet, respectful, and reasonably civilized campground is in completely the wrong place here.
To us, the atmosphere at times felt like a place where inconsiderate, antisocial, and utterly disrespectful behavior could run rampant without restraint.
I never would have thought I’d write something like this about a vacation spot, but the behavior we witnessed here was, for me, among the lowest levels of human social conduct I’ve personally encountered to date.
The situation was particularly bad for my girlfriend.
She was wearing very short shorts and an extremely sheer top. Due to the large amounts of water, her clothes became completely soaked and clung to her body.
She felt exposed, degraded, and deeply humiliated in front of complete strangers.
For her, this incident therefore had a clearly sexualized and humiliating nature.
At this point, at the very latest, any supposed “fun” stops for me.
Drenching a young woman you don’t know in this way without her consent, while she is wearing very light clothing, and then leaving her standing there in that situation—while adults stand by, join in, or even egg the children on—is simply repulsive to me.
Even more shocking is that apparently no one in this group even thought to apologize.
No “I’m sorry.”
No “That went too far.”
No parent coming to take their child back.
Nothing.
I’ve truly never been so shocked by how little respect, manners, and basic human decency can exist in a group of people.
Whether legal boundaries were crossed is, in case of doubt, a matter for the competent Italian authorities to assess. In any case, the incident was serious enough for us that we consider a police investigation to be justified.
You go on vacation to relax—and at the very least, you expect other people to possess an absolute minimum of social etiquette.
We found that this minimum was completely lacking in some cases here.
For us, this incident has severely tarnished our impression of the entire campground.
Anyone who values a respectful, pleasant, and civilized environment should, in my opinion, think very carefully about whether they want to spend their vacation here.
For us, one thing is certain:
Never again.
Not because of a little water.
But because of an atmosphere and behavior that we found to be crude, disrespectful, degrading, and simply shameful.
Even one star is actually too much for this.this is a translation, click here for the original

We stayed for 10 days in a Deluxe bungalow.
The campground is ideally located for visiting both Umbria and Tuscany.
The bungalow is well-equipped with everything we needed, and we found it very clean and comfortable.
The campground is quiet, tidy, and clean.
The entertainment is engaging but not intrusive.
The pool is pleasant, and you can always find a lounge chair, just like by the lake.
Although it was very hot during our stay, the campground’s trees provide a nice, cool retreat.
It’s a dog’s paradise: nature walks, bungalows with patios that can be closed off with a gate, and the chance to swim in the lake.
All the staff are kind and helpful.this is a translation, click here for the original
