Summary created out of 150 reviews

Camping Gajole is beautifully located on Lago di Corlo, surrounded by mountains and nature, offering absolute peace and spaciousness. Guests appreciate the clean sanitary facilities, spacious pitches with lake views, and excellent hiking opportunities directly from the campsite. Staff receives mixed reviews: many praise the friendliness and dedication of the two sister-owners, but others experience the staff as unfriendly, strict or unprofessional, especially during check-in/out and payments. Prices are often perceived as high, particularly in relation to facilities such as the absence of toilet paper and soap in the sanitary buildings, and additional charges for card payments and wifi.

Subjectively speaking: tired and exhausted, we arrived and were happy to find a spot for our van. The view was beautiful, and I found the campsite very pleasant. I would have liked a little more privacy, but it was fine all the same. The restrooms were very clean, and everything else was very clean as well, but aside from the cleanliness, the lack of soap—or even just hand sanitizer—really bothered me. At a campground with so many different visitors, providing soap—or at least hand sanitizer—should be a given and a matter of hygiene. I found the atmosphere very cold and unwelcoming. Regardless of the local mindset, is friendliness really such a rare commodity? The very bright Christmas lights from the permanent campers next to me kept me awake. We didn’t really feel welcome. As long as we were paying, we were merely tolerated—which was a bit brazen at €58. I’ve worked in the hospitality and events industry for over 16 years and organize events myself. Our guests have always been treated with love and care. A true sense of community. A true sense of togetherness.

The Lady at the reception wanted 59€ for one Person and one tent per night. They are either out of their minds or they don't like motorcyclists. Not even half of the places were occupied.
After this encounter i found a really nice Campsite in Asiago for not even half the price and also no connection to a lake ;-)

The campground is a real gem, with spacious grassy sites and water fountains nearby. There’s a washing machine and dryer. Very peaceful. There are playgrounds for kids, ping-pong tables, and a tennis court. Everything is very well maintained. The restrooms are nice and always clean, with free hot water available even for washing dishes. There’s a lake nearby. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The bar is very nicely decorated, and you can eat on the veranda. I definitely recommend it!

Lago vicino. Personale gentile e accogliente. Bar molto ben arredato, possibilita' di mangiare in veranda. Consiglio senza dubbio!

Camping Gajole—the campground is in a beautiful location and everything is spotlessly clean, that’s true, but come on—a “
” rate of 45.-€ for a cyclist with a small tent, plus 3.-€ for Wi-Fi because there’s no cell service? Yes, that still happens—you’d think you could expect that. On my cycling trip through the Alps, I’ve found much cheaper campsites that were just as good. Still, I’d recommend it for people with trailers and RVs, but not so much for cyclists just passing through.
