A beautiful campground in a great location—we’d love to return someday.
The campground’s location is really lovely. The surrounding area features a barefoot trail that leads directly to a sensory trail (a nice place to take a short walk after dinner so the kids can sleep soundly afterward). A simple but perfectly fine pool; it was a bit cold at the beginning of the week because the water is heated by the sun. During the week, it reached 35 degrees, and then the pool was truly wonderful for cooling off.
There are two restroom buildings, which are clean and well-maintained. We chose a nice spot next to a playground. Ideal for the kids, though there’s no shade by the sandbox. Luckily, we brought a beach umbrella.
The hiking trail from the campground to Larochette Castle is truly a gem. We followed the M4 trail + blue diamond markers. Beautiful scenery among the rocks 🪨 and fun little climbs.
There’s also plenty to do in the surrounding area.
Tip for families with young kids: the marble runs. €2 for a nice wooden marble—the kids have a blast, and we still get to explore the area a bit.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They generally speak Dutch or have a good command of English or German. Every morning, you can pick up bread rolls at the campground store, which also sells a variety of other products.
Our daughter even wanted to go get her own bread rolls for the last three days. She was well taken care of, and the staff later commented positively on this, noting that she was proud and that they’d given her a little help getting started. Wonderful.
All in all, we’d love to come back here again.this is a translation, click here for the original

The surroundings? Absolutely stunning! I’ll definitely be back! The service at this campground? Also great. A friendly young man is always willing to help you, as are his parents. Thank you all so much!
The only downside is that when the campground is full, some spots can get a bit cramped. It’s not that bad, but a little privacy is always nice. Plus, in some spots, there’s no room for your car, or it’s hard to get to if you’re traveling with a trailer.
The restroom facilities are cleaned very thoroughly. The pool is clean and nice. A bit cold, but that’s fine when it’s 40 degrees!
In short, the downsides are minor. The upsides more than make up for everything. Thank you so much for another set of wonderful memories!
Tip for the campground:
Drying your hands with a towel is much nicer. The hair dryer provided is weak and hardly does anything.this is a translation, click here for the original
De omgeving? Bizar mooi!
