A wonderful little family-friendly campground that’s quiet at a time when other campgrounds are still competing to showcase the latest trends, but where a warm, friendly atmosphere takes center stage.
People chat with one another, the kids quickly make friends, and the evenings wind down peacefully in front of the awning.
The restrooms are spotless despite the gloomy weatherthis is a translation, click here for the original

I stayed two separate nights at Loopen Mullerthal.
You’re greeted warmly upon arrival. The owners and staff speak several languages (including Dutch), so communication goes smoothly.
Clean restrooms, nice shower (refreshing after a long hike). Nice pool. There’s a shop with basic items and the option to order fresh rolls; I don’t think they … had any fruits or vegetables, but maybe I didn’t look closely enough or they were already sold out.
We had a good meal at the on-site restaurant.
On the small field where small tents can be pitched, there are a few picnic tables and a small shelter. Ideal campground if you’re hiking the Mullerthal Trail—highly recommended.
By the way, there are some nice blog posts on the website about the campground’s history.this is a translation, click here for the original

We spent a weekend at this campground while passing through on our way to Austria.
We parked our folding trailer on the tent field, which had a playground right in the middle. This was really great for the kids. Our youngest had fun all day playing with the other kids. Clean restrooms, a little shop on the campground, and friendly staff. A … (cold and small) pool, but perfect for cooling off.
We were so happy to be on the tent field. We wouldn’t even have fit on the “regular” sites. The spots there were small and cramped, and it was really packed.this is a translation, click here for the original
