Guests particularly appreciate the friendly staff and the beautiful location directly on the Sauer river, within walking distance of Diekirch. The spacious camping pitches and the freedom to choose your own spot are highly valued. Since the takeover by Dutch owners in November, significant work has been done on renovations and improvements, visible in the new mobile homes and accommodations. Sanitary facilities are frequently mentioned as an area for improvement: the facilities are dated and while generally clean, details such as toilet roll holders and hand dryers are missing. Some guests also question the price-quality ratio. However, the campsite has great potential thanks to its location along the cycle path, proximity to the town centre and the peaceful, green surroundings.

    We stayed here with our RV from June 6 to 9. The campground is within walking distance of the village and next to the river. But it’s not right on the river, since there’s a green belt and a bike path running alongside it. There are both sunny and shaded spots, thanks to the beautiful tall trees (including plane trees). All sites have a level grass surface. The owners/managers are very friendly and helpful. The restrooms aren’t very modern, but they are clean and functional. It’s really nice to bike along the river, starting right from the campground.

    Wij stonden hier met onze camper van 6 tot 9 juni. De camping ligt op loopafstand van het dorp en aan de rivier. Maar niet direct aan de rivier, omdat er nog een groenstrook en een fietspad langsliggen. Er zijn zowel zon- als schaduwplekken, door de mooie hoge bomen (w.o. platanen). Alle plaatsen hebben een vlakke grasbodem. De eigenaren/beheerders zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het sanitair is niet heel modern, maar wel schoon en functioneel. Het is erg leuk om langs de rivier te fietsen, direct vanaf de camping.

    We stayed at this campground for one night while passing through on our way to France. We were camped by the Sûre River. Right in front of us was a walking and biking trail that was very busy. From the campground, you can walk right into Diekirch—a charming little town with several cafés, outdoor seating areas, and restaurants. We had a delicious meal there. A great spot for an overnight stay!

    Wij hebben één nacht op doorreis naar Frankrijk op deze camping gestaan. Stonden aan de rivier de Sûre. Voor ons liep een wandel/fietspad waarvan druk gebruik werd gemaakt. Vanaf de camping loop je zo Diekirch in. Een leuk stadje met meerdere café's, terrassen en restaurants. Daar hebben we lekker gegeten. Voor een overnachting een prima plek!

    A really beautiful campground. Right on the “Sauer” River. It’s also right on the Ettelbrück–Echternach and Vianden bike paths. Within walking distance of Diekirch’s Old Town. The food at the campground restaurant is absolutely delicious!!! Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

    Super schöner Campingplatz. Direkt am Fluss „Sauer“. Sowie direkt am Fahradweg Ettelbrück-Echternach sowie Vianden. Fussläufig zur Altstadt-Diekirch. Restaurant auf dem Campingplatz super lecker !!! Sehr freunfliches und hilfsbereites Personnal. Sehr zum empfehlen.

    Excellent location, very quiet, and the restrooms are very clean with hot water.
    It’s ideal for cycling and exploring Luxembourg by bike or train (free travel throughout the country)—that’s great.
