Guests particularly appreciate the friendly staff and the beautiful location directly on the Sauer river, within walking distance of Diekirch. The spacious camping pitches and the freedom to choose your own spot are highly valued. Since the takeover by Dutch owners in November, significant work has been done on renovations and improvements, visible in the new mobile homes and accommodations. Sanitary facilities are frequently mentioned as an area for improvement: the facilities are dated and while generally clean, details such as toilet roll holders and hand dryers are missing. Some guests also question the price-quality ratio. However, the campsite has great potential thanks to its location along the cycle path, proximity to the town centre and the peaceful, green surroundings.

Very friendly welcome; the sites are very spacious and some are shaded by trees. The restrooms are clean and perfectly adequate. The highlight is the free bus and train rides.

This isn’t my kind of campground—little cabins all crammed together in rows.
I did find it very quiet, though—no radio and people didn’t talk loudly.
I was a bit hesitant about that at first.
But by 10:00 p.m., it was quiet.
