A simple pitch, nothing more and nothing less. The location directly on the Sauer is beautiful, the meadow pitches large. Diekirch is within walking distance and is a nice place. A walking and cycle path runs directly parallel to the site. But there is also a sticking point. The site is not fenced off and is publicly accessible from all sides. In addition, everything is poorly lit in the dark. We stayed here for 5 nights and left 1 day early. Our mistake was that we had a fixed booking, otherwise we would have left even earlier. It was empty and therefore quiet. The place has potential, but the operators still have a lot of work to do, even if they are trying hard. All the buildings are outdated and unkempt. Sanitary building also outdated, clean enough to use, but overall not appealing. No toilet roll holders, no disinfection, sometimes no soap and no hand dryers or towels at all. The canteen is quite nice, even with the outdoor seating, but doesn't match the offer. There were only snacks (chips, frikandel, pizza), but this may be due to the end of the season. We paid €34 per night for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 dog. Far too expensive for a simple, functional place with no comfort or special facilities. The location is certainly nice in summer, but it's not worth staying here for more than 2-3 nights.

Was on the right place but caravans are dirty and run down, old, not complete. Looked good on the pictures and reviews but think some reviews are not genius. Called standard but this is not standard this is called nothing. No WiFi no TV, no radio, no electric kettle, no oven, no microwave, no shelf in the shower, no handle in the shower, no door mat, no scissor, no salt / pepper dispenser no fire alarm, no coal monoxide alarm, no gas certificate, no emergency plan, no hook on the toilet door, no door handle toilet, cushions on bench flat and no life in it, curtains very close to cooker, fire hazard, no blind kitchen window, cutlery not complete, no wine glasses, 3 lemonade/beer glasses, pieces out coffee mugs, no safety leaning on steps, steps dangerous cricket, no gate on balcony. Staff owners friendly and constantly apologizing but no deduction and we paid full price. I booked 2 caravans for 11 nights at a cost of £ 1430 that nearly £ 70 a night per chicken coop what they called caravan Diekirch is a lovely place, the war museum. The canteen was good but only open a few hours like 5pm till 7pm and not every day
