Summary created out of 155 reviews

Camping Du Rivage is beautifully situated along the river Sûre and offers spacious pitches, often directly by the water. The modern sanitary facilities are consistently praised for their cleanliness and are regularly cleaned, with free showers requiring no coins. Guests appreciate the opportunity to use free canoes and SUPs, and the location serves as an ideal base for hiking and cycling in the Müllerthal region. Opinions about the owner are strongly divided: many guests experience him as friendly, helpful and service-oriented, while others voice serious complaints about aggressive and unfriendly behaviour, especially during conflicts or unexpected situations. The wifi hardly works and there are only a few water points on the campsite, which are also positioned low and inconveniently.

We stayed in one of the safari tents and really enjoyed our time at the campground. The amenities were practical—everything we needed was there.... The tent and campground, including the restrooms, were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the young man from the kayak rental who gave us a ride in his car after our trip because the bus had just left, and who even carried our trash bag to the bin for us when we checked out :)—great service. Many thanks to the campground team.

We got to stay here last week… we really enjoyed it; the restrooms were clean, and the dishwashing area was very cozy. Good access to all the fun things in the area. A beautiful spot by the water—we really got that “camping” feeling here. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful vacation at this campground. It’s a small, simple campground. Lots of people with tents or standard-sized RVs. No fuss about who has the biggest RV or the best-styled awning—just camping the way it’s meant to be. The restrooms were very clean and there were enough for all the guests.

It’s located next to a beautiful river where my little son had a great time for 10 days.

I don’t understand the negative comments about the campground owner. He was very friendly and helpful.

You can order fresh rolls the day before, and they’ll be ready for you in the morning.
