    We stayed at the campground with our own trailer for a week in mid-September—it was a lovely spot by a little stream! (Just keep in mind that if you’re on the north side, you’ll need to be aware of the train, which passes by quite often). And the weather during this time of year was absolutely perfect for hiking!
    The staff was also very … friendly, the food at the bistro was delicious, the 24/7 pizza kiosk was a tasty and fun addition, and we found the campground’s restrooms to be exceptionally clean.
    You’re not allowed to park your car right next to your campsite, which we personally found a bit of a shame, but there’s plenty of space in the parking lots.
    One thing we did have to get used to was that the bells in the village ring every morning at 6:00 a.m.... For a vacation, that was a very early wake-up call, but luckily we were able to fall right back asleep afterward ;)
    Of course, the campground has no control over that, just as it has no control over the train.
    Everything else was just perfectly organized!! We really enjoyed this week.

    Wij stonden een week op de camping met eigen caravan halverwege september, het was een heerlijke plek aan een beekje! (Let wel op dat als je aan de noordzijde staat, je rekening moet houden met de trein die best vaak langs komt). En voor wandelen was deze periode hier ook echt super qua weer!
    Verder was het personeel zeer vriendelijk, het eten in de bistro heerlijk, de 24/7 pizza kiosk een hele lekkere en leuke toevoeging en het sanitair op de camping vonden wij echt uitzonderlijk schoon.
    De auto mag niet bij je kampeerplaats staan, dat vonden wij persoonlijk een beetje jammer maar op de parkeerplaatsen is voldoende ruimte.
    Waar wij wel even aan moesten wennen is dat de klokken in het dorp elke ochtend luiden om 06.00 uur... Voor vakantie was dat wel erg vroeg wakker worden, gelukkig konden wij daarna weer prima in slaap vallen ;)
    Ook daar heeft de camping natuurlijk geen invloed op, evenals de trein.
    De rest was gewoon perfect geregeld!! We hebben echt genoten van deze week.
