The peace and nature-rich surroundings make it an ideal spot for hikers and families. The sanitary facilities and cleanliness are positively reviewed, as is the bread delivery service brought to accommodations in the morning. However, some guests experience unfriendliness from staff, and there are comments about limited space, drainage issues during heavy rainfall, and communication challenges.

We read a lot of reviews, but you always have to experience things for yourself. The welcome was courteous, professional, and informative. We knew the owner likes to stick to opening hours, and we respected that. The food was well prepared, and our spot was great—with plenty of shade. So we don’t agree with the negative reviews. Another positive was that they communicated very clearly about details like events, for example, and the app is great. I do have two constructive comments, though. Some people let their dogs relieve themselves in the little river where children are playing—this is absolutely unacceptable, and we don’t understand what possesses these people. We had a spot with private restroom facilities, and they weren’t great. It was a homemade shed with entrances on two sides—way too hot, not clean, and there’s a form inside that you’re supposed to fill out yourself. We definitely get that, but we don’t think they checked up on the people who were there before us. Finally, the paving around the site could be a bit safer—if you’re not careful, you’ll end up taking another shower.

We spent 2.5 weeks at the campground this summer with our caravan. A beautiful spot by the winding little river that runs through the campground. You don’t have to check in at a specific time—you can go straight to your spot, and one of the staff members will come over to welcome you with a nice little gift. The restroom building was a bit further away for us, but a short walk never hurts. Sometimes it got really crowded in the showers, but otherwise it was perfectly manageable. Beautiful surroundings!! Definitely plenty to do for young and old.

And the train—yes, it passes by regularly—but I didn’t find it bothersome. Sure, you can hear it, but only very briefly, and it never once disturbed my peace or kept me from sleeping soundly!

One minor point, perhaps: I think the recreation team could have done a little more in some cases; it wasn’t bad, but for a professional recreation program, it was a bit subpar.

In short, we thoroughly enjoyed the 2.5 weeks we were there, and there’s a good chance we’ll go back again.

Nice little campground by the river. Nice entertainment, sprinkusen, trampoline etc. Staff almost never experienced so friendly before. Food good and much. Worth repeating. No WiFi reception so a lot on 5G or sitting at reception.

Leuke kleine camping aan de rivier. Leuk entertainment, springkusen, trampoline etc.

A lovely, peaceful campground. Small but charming. A bistro, a little snack bar, coffee pods, and a little stream. Really nice!
