All in all, a great campground. We booked it because of the pool and the water slide for our two teenagers, but the slide was closed.
When we arrived, we found ourselves in a field where a large “Proud of the Netherlands” group was gathered. I found the flags and banners quite intimidating. So I arrived already feeling uneasy. The people themselves were nice enough, but the group was large and therefore noisy, including a big sound system playing music (not super loud, but clearly audible, which I still found disruptive).
The restroom facilities were fine. But I won’t be coming back. The atmosphere just wasn’t my thing; I went there because I wanted a campground with a pool for the two teenagers I had with me. But next time, we’ll stick to a smaller, quieter campground.this is a translation, click here for the original
Toiletgebouw was prima. -

I’ve read a lot of negative things about this vacation park, which is still undergoing some renovations and is run by a young couple. These people are doing their very best. Personally, I think they’re doing a good job. After all, they’re only human. Vacationers tend to view a campground as a home, when it’s really a place to enjoy nature and peace and quiet. (The spot where I stayed the whole time is in a quiet location.)
I read somewhere that the showers are dirty. In any case, I’ve been wearing flip-flops in the shower for years, no matter which campground I visit. Besides, if a toilet bowl is dirty, you just give it a good scrub with a brush after doing your business, just like at home.
Speaking for myself, I think these owners deserve a big pat on the back. If there’s a problem, there’s always a solution. But let’s also give these people the chance to solve it themselves. Renovations are still underway—we can all see that. They only have so many hands to work with. Maybe, as guests, we can do our part to help them out.
I have deep respect for them.this is a translation, click here for the original

We stayed in a chalet where the outdoor furniture was dirty, old, and certainly not attractive. The master bedroom had a small closet, and the smaller bedroom had a large closet that couldn’t be opened because the bed was in the way. There was also no microwave. The roller blinds in the kitchen were dirty. The patio was overgrown with weeds, and the tiles were uneven and crooked.

Rolgordijnen in keuken waren vies.
