General information

In this atmospheric safari tent, you can experience the real glamping feeling: camping in the middle of nature, but with extra comfort. The tent is suitable for up to four people and features a cozy living area with a seating area, dining area, television, and electric heating for cooler days.

The accommodation has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Duvets and pillows are provided. The open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer compartment, gas stove, kettle, and Senseo coffee pad machine, so you can easily prepare your own meals.

Outside, you can enjoy a spacious veranda with a picnic table, ideal for having breakfast together or relaxing in the open air. The safari tent does not have its own sanitary facilities; for this you can use the nearby sanitary building on the campsite.

What you should know about the park

In the heart of beautiful Drenthe, close to the charming town of Borger, lies Hunzedal Holiday Park. Surrounded by the forests, heathlands and dolmens of the Hondsrug, this is the ideal destination for families who want to combine nature, relaxation and adventure. Take a dip in the subtropical swimming pool with outdoor pool, water slide and rapids, enjoy exciting activities in the Adventure Hall with climbing wall, archery and an underground labyrinth, or enjoy a sunny day by the recreational lake. Sports enthusiasts are also well catered for with tennis, padel, mini golf, bowling and a multi-purpose sports field. Thanks to the Kids Club, playgrounds, the Fun & Entertainment programme and the cosy brasserie, there is always something to do for young and old.

Please note: until further notice, swimming in the recreational lake is not advised due to water quality. Before using the recreational lake, ask at reception for the latest situation.

    Nice vacation park. The cottage was a bit dated. It was reasonably clean. A minor issue with the cleaning was resolved the very same evening after we arrived.
