EuroParcs Zuiderzee boasts a beautiful location directly on the Veluwemeer, with convenient access to Elburg, Harderwijk and attractions like Walibi. The park offers spacious playgrounds, a large indoor play area and animation programmes that keep families with children entertained. However, the park faces significant challenges: the swimming pool is frequently described as ice-cold, dirty and outdated, cleaning of accommodations often falls short with dust, stains and mould, and there is considerable maintenance backlog affecting furniture, doors and technical installations. Staff reviews are mixed – some are friendly and helpful, others unfriendly or overwhelmed – and communication and customer service frequently disappoint, with guests being passed from pillar to post.

    The interior door won’t close. The sliding glass door opens but won’t close. A manure smell is coming from the kitchen cabinet and spreading throughout the living room. We reported this to the front desk, and they told us they couldn’t smell it and that we should just avoid using the sliding glass door. We reported this again and were given a … replacement unit, but it was the same type of unit. In the other unit, a door was almost falling off and there was no Wi-Fi; we reported this again, and as a solution, we were given an air freshener for the stench coming from the kitchen cabinet. Dead flies, spider webs, and dust everywhere. We had to stay here for a month with six people from October 2 through November 2 for work. Very small cottage with little storage space for six people. Never again!

    Tussendeur kan niet dicht. Schuifpui kan open maar niet dicht. Mest geur uit keukenkast wat door heel de woonkamer gaat. Gemeld bij receptie en als antwoord kregen we dat de geur niet te ruiken was, en dat we de schuifpui maar gewoon niet moeten gebruiken. Dat weer gemeld en kregen een vervangen woning maar dezelfde type woning. in de andere woning viel een deur er bijna uit en was er geen wifi, weer aangegeven en als oplossing kregen we een geur spray voor de stank uit het keukenkastje. Overal dode vliegen, spinnenwebben en stof. Wij hebben hier een maand in moeten zitten met 6 personen vanaf 2 oktober t/m 2 november ivm werk. Erg klein huisje met weinig opbergruimte voor 6 man. Nooit meer!
