Watersportcamping Heeg is praised for its beautiful waterfront location offering swimming, sailing and water sports. Guests appreciate the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the green terrain with many trees and the welcoming family running the campsite. The beach bar serving fresh bread rolls and coffee is a popular gathering spot. Areas for improvement mainly concern the sanitary facilities (dated, small showers, not always clean) and the price-quality ratio, with paid showers being seen as outdated.

It has been our second time on this camping site, and we loved every minute of it! We stayed with a caravan for two weeks. Beautiful location, right at a lake. Clean facilities, helpful service from the family owning the site. There is a sense of community. Watching the sun setting into the water of a lake is an amazing way to finish a day full of … fun water activities or can cycling adventures. Numerous cycling paths allow to reach lovely local villages with a pleasure and no trouble at all. There is a shade from trees and sun as well on the pitches, which is great. I am sure we will return again.

A really great campground! Had an absolutely wonderful weekend with my friends! The location was fantastic—it was so relaxing and luxurious right on the water. The value for money was excellent. We also booked pretty late, but luckily that wasn’t a problem. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained; there were a bit too many mosquitoes around … them, but there’s nothing you can do about that—it’s just part of camping, of course! Other than that, we weren’t bothered much by mosquitoes. There’s a cute little beach café with great coffee and sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and easy to strike up a conversation with. We also enjoyed a really fun wine tasting featuring Frisian wines. All in all, a fantastic campground! Highly recommended.
The only downsides were that the SUPs were a bit pricey for us to rent, but the canoes were a great deal! And I would have liked to know exactly how long the showers were on, but after one time, you figure that out, of course 🙃.this is a translation, click here for the original
Super fijne camping! Prijs kwaliteitsverhouding was super goed. Verder weinig last gehad van muggen.
