At the front you can relax on your private terrace, while next to the tent you’ll find a small fire pit with a tripod and pan. Light the fire, enjoy the crackling wood and cook your dinner outside in pure nature. Prefer something a bit easier? You can always use the shared kitchen facilities at the campsite.

Inside, the made-up double bed is wonderfully comfortable and placed so that, when you unzip the back entrance of the tent, you look straight out over the fields with grazing sheep. You’re surrounded by nature reserves such as Lauwersoog, ‘t Bûtefjild and the Twijzeler Mieden, where you can walk, cycle and spot birds.

Fancy a bit of culture or a terrace? The charming Eleven Cities town of Dokkum is close by, and the vibrant cities of Groningen and Leeuwarden are also within easy reach for a day trip.
