The Modus Wellness 2 is reminiscent of a luxury hotel room with wonderful wellness facilities. The detached chalet is ground floor and suitable for 2 persons. The living-bedroom is warmly decorated and you will find a double bed, a sitting area with television, a bathtub, spacious shower, sink and infrared sauna or electric sauna and a dining area and a kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator and a Senseo machine or filter coffee maker. Modus Wellness 2 has a separate toilet. You can park 1 car at the chalet and you can use the free wifi. Your booked accommodation has one-time hotel service! This means that your beds are made upon arrival and there is a towel set ready for you. Please note: It is not allowed to charge electric cars at the property.

    A beautiful park with lovely houses. The staff can sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed, but we’ve only had positive experiences with the people here. Overall, we’d recommend it, even though we’ve heard a lot of negative things.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4,5/5) Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen and would come again. We particularly liked the quiet location right on the water. The immediate surroundings are ideal for cycling tours and the whole region is very bike-friendly. The bicycle rental service, the swimming pool and the fenced-in dog area, which is very practical for dog owners, are also positive highlights. The staff were friendly and check-in was straightforward. Everything was explained to us clearly on arrival, so we quickly found our way around. Our vacation home was modernly furnished, well-maintained and clean inside. However, the terrace, roof terrace and grounds did not look quite as well maintained as the interior due to numerous cobwebs and dirt. We were not completely convinced by the room layout. Although the house is designed for six people, we found the bedrooms to be quite small. There were four of us and we found it a bit cramped in places. In addition, there is only one separate toilet with two bathrooms. For the price, we would have liked a little more space here. There is a mini market on the premises for your daily needs. The range is practical, but the prices are a little higher. The biggest criticism is the internet supply. The Wi-Fi in the vacation home was very poor and practically unusable for streaming. Mobile reception in the house was also very weak with a German Telekom card, so mobile internet was hardly an option. Despite these points of criticism, the positive aspects clearly outweighed them for us. Anyone looking for peace, nature, water and good cycling opportunities will find a very nice vacation destination here. With improvements to the Wi-Fi and a little more maintenance of the outdoor areas, we could even give it full marks.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4,5/5) Wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen und würden wiederkommen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage direkt am Wasser. Die direkte Umgebung ist hervorragend für Fahrradtouren geeignet und die gesamte Region wirkt sehr fahrradfreundlich. Positiv hervorzuheben sind außerdem die Fahrradvermietung, das Schwimmbad sowie der eingezäunte Hundeplatz, der für Hundebesitzer sehr praktisch ist. Das Personal war freundlich und der Check-in verlief unkompliziert. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns alles verständlich erklärt, sodass wir uns schnell zurechtgefunden haben. Unser Ferienhaus war modern eingerichtet, gepflegt und im Innenbereich sauber. Die Terrasse, die Dachterrasse und das Grundstück wirkten allerdings durch zahlreiche Spinnweben und Verschmutzungen nicht ganz so gepflegt wie der Innenbereich. Die Raumaufteilung hat uns nicht vollständig überzeugt. Obwohl das Haus für sechs Personen ausgelegt ist, empfanden wir die Schlafzimmer als recht klein. Wir waren zu viert unterwegs und fanden es teilweise schon etwas eng. Zudem gibt es nur eine separate Toilette bei zwei Badezimmern. Für den Preis hätten wir uns hier etwas mehr Platz gewünscht. Für den täglichen Bedarf gibt es einen Minimarkt auf dem Gelände. Das Angebot ist praktisch, die Preise sind allerdings etwas höher. Der größte Kritikpunkt ist die Internetversorgung. Das WLAN im Ferienhaus war sehr schlecht und für Streaming praktisch nicht nutzbar. Auch der Mobilfunkempfang im Haus war mit einer deutschen Telekom-Karte sehr schwach, sodass mobiles Internet kaum als Alternative infrage kam. Trotz dieser Kritikpunkte überwiegen für uns klar die positiven Aspekte. Wer Ruhe, Natur, Wasser und gute Möglichkeiten zum Radfahren sucht, findet hier ein sehr schönes Urlaubsziel. Mit Verbesserungen beim WLAN und etwas mehr Pflege der Außenbereiche wäre für uns sogar die volle Punktzahl möglich.
