    Our favorite spot in Winterswijk. The campsites are plenty big, and there are glamping accommodations available, too. There’s plenty for kids to do—lots of playgrounds and a small pool. We always love coming back. A lot of renovations have been done in recent years. It’s in a great location for biking to downtown, with lots of beautiful bike paths all around.

    Unser Lieblingsplatz in Winterswijk. Die Parzellen sind ausreichend groß , auch Glampingunterkünfte sind vorhanden , für Kinder wird viel geboten. Viele Spielplätze , kleiner Pool .Kommen immer gerne wieder. In den letzten Jahren wurde sehr viel erneuert. Die Lage zur Innenstadt mit dem Fahrrad ist super, viele schöne Fahrradwege drum herum.

    We just got back from a little over a week at the Italian Lakes. We had a site with private restroom facilities (E13). We were very satisfied with it. The site is very spacious, so you have plenty of options for how you want to set up your camping gear.
    The private bathroom facilities were great—a wonderful shower.
    One thing I’d like to see added, which I’ve also heard others mention, is making the outdoor water supply easier to use, for example, for washing dishes.

    We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Super friendly staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurants and entertainment areas.

    The pool is very clean and a great way to cool off.

    We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked two more nights.

    Definitely recommended!!! We’d definitely go back.

    Wij zijn net terug van een ruime week naar De Italiaanse Meren. Wij hadden een plek met privé sanitair (E13). Hier waren wij zeer tevreden over. De plek is erg ruim, dus je hebt keus genoeg hoe je je kampeermiddel neer wil zetten.
    Het privesanitair was top, heerlijke douche.
    Wat ik als aanvulling zou willen zien, is wat ik anderen ook al hoor zeggen, zorg dat de watervoorziening aan de buitenkant makkelijker gebruikt kan worden voor bijvoorbeeld het afwassen.

    Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk welkom geheten. Super vriendelijk personeel, zowel receptie als ook in de horeca en animatie.

    Het zwembad is zeer netjes en heerlijk om af te koelen.

    Wij hadden het dusdanig naar ons zin, dat we nog 2 nachten hadden bijgeboekt.

    Zeker een aanrader!!! Voor ons voor herhaling vatbaar.

    During a cycling event, I was out late at night looking for a place to sleep. By chance, I ran into the owner of the campground and asked him if I could pitch my tent there for a few hours. Although the campground isn’t designed for tent campers, he generously offered me a spot on the lawn. He was curious about what kind of trip we were on and even let us take a shower. Thank you so much for your spontaneous hospitality! The restrooms were very clean, and the park looked extremely well-maintained.

    Im Rahmen eines Radevents war ich zu später Stunde auf der Suche nach einem Schlafplatz. Zufällig traf ich noch auf den Besitzer des Campingplatzes und fragte ihn, ob es möglich wäre mein Zelt für ein paar Stunden aufzuschlagen. Obwohl der Campingplatz nicht auf reine Zeltgäste ausgelegt ist, bot er großzügig ein Stück Wiese an. Er war neugierig, auf was für einer Tour wir wären und erlaubte uns sogar noch zu duschen. Vielen Dank für die spontane Gastfreundschaft! Die Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber und der Park wirkte äußerst gepflegt.

    the lakes there give very "italien" vibes indeed..dirty mudpools, owergrown with trees so bad not a single kid would ever swimm in there..

    Our intention was to buy a caravan here on a yearly pitch but had to seriously reconsider that after meeting the managemant.. take care if you want to buy a holiday home here because people will not buy it back from anymore in case you want to sell your bungalow with these bad rules and the park will simply refuse any cooperation..
