Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. During our stay in the middle of summer, the temperature in the cottage rose to as high as 42 degrees. It was truly unbearable inside, and for the amount we paid for the cottage, I find this absolutely unacceptable.

I filed a complaint about this and have since been told several times that I … would receive a response. To date, however, that still hasn’t happened. I find that very disappointing and, above all, frustrating, because I just want a fair resolution.

I believe that, given the amount I paid, I should at least be able to expect a partial refund. I’m not trying to make a fuss; I just want to be taken seriously and receive appropriate compensation for a stay that was thoroughly ruined by the extreme heat.

The park is in a good location. Many places are easily accessible by bike. There’s a small marina and a swimming beach right nearby. The park has a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay. The food at the restaurant wasn’t really our thing—too much deep-fried food. The staff in all areas were very friendly. Unfortunately, our cottage … for 4 people had a few issues. Only two windows had fly screens, and those were broken and therefore unusable. Fly screens—and especially mosquito screens—would be particularly useful in the bedroom and bathroom. So close to the water, this is a must for a relaxing vacation. There were dead mosquitoes and dust all over the walls. The air conditioning was a plus. An instruction manual for the microwave/oven would be helpful. The garden wasn’t well-maintained, and the garden table had burn marks.

Despite the shortcomings, it was a nice vacation. We might come back. Read more Show less

Beautiful surroundings. Cycling is practically a must. Great bike paths.
