    Mooie park en leuke restaurant maar onze kamer was best vies, de kussen en deken hadden een rare vlek op en ik vind het ook erg onhandig dat je tussen 22:00 en 07:00 niet het terrein af kan met de auto. Daar kwam ik te laat achter….

    Deelgenomen aan het familieweekend van Europarcs. Incheck was prima en verliep prima zonder extra wachttijd; een leuke attentie met versnaperingen ontvangen; we hadden een hondenhuisje ivm met onze 2 honden, net huisje en geen luchtjes; voor ons en (klein) kinderen een weekend met activiteiten georganiseerd door Europarcs! Al met al super!! We komen volgend jaar graag weer terug.

    Mooie camping met een fijne ligging: je loopt zo het bos in, en juist daarom hadden wij deze plek uitgekozen. Het sanitair was netjes, schoon en verwarmd – erg prettig, zeker in september. Het winkeltje had ruime openingstijden en heerlijke broodjes, en het personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk. Ook het terrein zelf was super netjes onderhouden, wat je goed merkt aan de kwaliteit en de uitstraling. Toch waren er ook wat minpunten. Een dag na onze aankomst werd het zwembad al leeggepompt. Dat vonden we vreemd, want de camping zat nog aardig vol en dit stond nergens vermeld bij het boeken. Je verwacht een zwembad als je daarvoor kiest, en met temperaturen boven de 20 graden had dat nog prima gebruikt kunnen worden. Daarnaast zijn er erg veel seizoenplaatsen. Daardoor voelden wij ons soms een beetje een vreemde eend in de bijt, en zelfs wat bekeken door de vaste gasten. Achteraf bleek er een apart toeristenveld te zijn, maar dat was bij het boeken niet duidelijk aangegeven – anders hadden we liever daar gestaan. Na het hoogseizoen is het bovendien wel erg rustig op de camping. Ondanks dat zowel de camping als de huisjes nog goed bezet waren, ontbrak het een beetje aan sfeer. Een klein stukje animatie of wat gezelligheid in het restaurant (bijvoorbeeld live muziek, een pubquiz of bingo) had dit al een stuk levendiger gemaakt. Nu was het met minder weer soms wat saai en stil, waardoor we ons sneller gingen vervelen. Om die redenen zijn we uiteindelijk vijf dagen eerder naar huis gegaan. Jammer, want de basis is echt goed, maar met wat extra aandacht voor het laagseizoen zou de ervaring veel aantrekkelijker zijn.
