We booked this trip for my son’s birthday. We have been to so many Europarcs over the years and have always had positive experiences. However, de Zanding was such a challenge from booking to our stay. We booked a glamping lodge/tent which requires a wood pellet burning heater. They “required” us to go to the reception, in the rain, in the cold, in the dark to always fill up a 2/3 Liter bucket to refill our bucket with wood pellets every 3 hours just to keep our tent warm. This is such an inconvenience for the basic need of heat. One night they said they would bring us some and “forgot”. It was as cold as 8 degrees outside and we did not have any heating after spending the day outside. I am shocked at the customer service. The lady at the reception was unsympathetic and just simply rude. I kindly suggested that they stock up our lodge with several bags of wood pellets so I don’t have to walk to the reception (which is quite a distance from my lodge to the reception) and she said “no, that’s not how it works.” I booked this tent, paid for it, and I do not want to walk in the rain, cold and dark just to keep this tent warm. I really hope they look into finding a better system to the problem to ensure the safety, comfort and satisfaction of theirs customers. We still have a few says here, I hope it improves.

Heerlijk park.
