The heating system, with motion sensors that frequently switch off, causes discomfort especially during colder periods. The 'dog beach' is disappointing – it's merely a very small access point to the water – and the restaurant and shop have limited opening hours and selection.

    I was at a vacation camp with 10 other people at the "De Ral" lodge, and even before we could move into the house, we had to give it a thorough cleaning. While doing so, we noticed that something had been leaking for quite some time—the water filter. An employee then came by and, after a while, determined that the radiators had never been bled, causing a massive buildup of pressure. This problem was then fixed!
    There were a lot of spiders, dirt, and dust on the floor. So we started by cleaning the toilets and bathrooms. The kettle was full of limescale! The coffee maker looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned all year. In addition, the set of dishes was incomplete and, moreover, not clean (despite the presence of a dishwasher).
    Outside, it was a real shame that artificial turf had been laid instead of real grass. There appeared to be a wasp or bee nest under the deck. There were no cushions on the patio furniture, and the plants were neglected. The grill seemed old and was full of leaves and dirt. Not all of the doors opened, and the area in front of the house was also rather run-down, messy, and even damaged in places.

    The on-site staff was very friendly, and the location is also beautiful. It’s a real shame that the accommodation apparently wasn’t well-maintained.

    Ich war auf Ferienfreizeit mit 10 weiteren Personen in der Unterkunft "De Ral" und noch bevor wir überhaupt das Haus beziehen konnten, mussten wir es grundreinigen. Dabei fiel auf, dass etwas schon länger undicht war, bei dem Wasserfilter. Ein Mitarbeiter kam dann und stellte nach einiger Zeit fest, dass die Heizungen noch nie entlüftet wurden und sich somit ein gewaltiger Druck aufgebaut hat. Dieses Problem wurde dann behoben!
    Es waren sehr viele Spinnen und Dreck und Staub am Boden zu finden. Dementsprechend haben wir auch die Toiletten und Bäder erstmal geputzt. Der Wasserkocher war voller Kalk! Die Kaffeemaschine sah aus, als wäre sie das letzte Jahr nicht gereinigt worden. Zudem war das Inventar an Geschirr nicht vollständig und zudem nicht sauber (trotz vorhandener Spülmaschine).
    Im Außenbereich war es sehr schade, dass Kunstrasen verlegt war, statt echter. Es schien ein Wespen/Bienennest unter dem Steg zu sein. Auf den Gartenmöbeln waren keine Polster zu finden und die Pflanzen waren nicht gepflegt. Der vorhandene Grill schien schon alt und war voller Laub und Dreck. Die Türen ließen sich nicht alle öffnen und auch vor dem Haus war alles eher heruntergekommen und unordentlich bis beschädigt.

    Das Personal vor Ort war sehr freundlich und die Location ist auch schön. Sehr schade, dass die Unterkunft anscheinend nicht gepflegt wurde.

    We just went swimming at the outdoor pool. It was great. But we couldn't find any changing rooms.
    It's quieter and, thanks to the water, more idyllic all around than the Europarc next door.
    Unfortunately, the hours of operation are just as limited as at the other park.

    Wir waren nur im Freibad schwimmen. Das war super. Aber Umkleiden haben wir nicht gefunden.
    Ruhiger und durch das Wasser überall idyllischer als der Europarc daneben.
    Öffnungszeiten leider wie im anderen Park bescheiden.
