De Hoge Veluwe National Park is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the Netherlands. To truly relax during your vacation, a trip to this park is a must. Follow the various hiking or cycling routes through the park and you might spot a red deer, wild boar, mouflon, or roe deer. Watch the landscapes around you change from heathlands to forests or stroll towards the grass plains. And all of this is just about 17 kilometers away from Recreation Park De Boshoek! A visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum, which houses many works by Van Gogh, should not be missed when heading to the park. This way, you are guaranteed a day of nature, culture, and fresh air.

    This is the first time we've stayed here and we wouldn't come back again. What we liked very much: - Direct access to the pitch with license plate recognition at the entrance - Beautiful, level pitch What we didn't like so much: - Warmer showers where you don't have to stand with your back against the wall to get water - Light that also shines in the showers so that you can see something - Heating in the washrooms (these are very cold) - 4 showers, 2 are defective. Either more showers or repair defective showers - Many things here only work with card payment. Children without a debit card cannot shop independently - always 16A power connection, so that the coffee machine and another electronic device also work in parallel - the pitches are significantly (!) reduced in price shortly before the start of the trip. We paid €560 for a pitch without a private bathroom, now pitches with a bathroom cost €390. After asking if it was possible to change, we were told that we would have to cancel first and pay a cancellation fee. Otherwise the computer system would not be able to work. - evening and night access to the wash house only with keycard or cell phone code, rather unpleasant for small children. - For us, the area does not offer so many (inexpensive) attractions. Next time we will visit another campsite that is closer to the sea. There we can go to the sea even in bad weather and at least have a nice view. However, this is certainly the right place for people who love peace and quiet and have a high tolerance for the cold.

    Wir sind das erste Mal auf diesem Platz zu Gast und würden nicht nochmal wiederkommen. Was uns ganz gut gefallen hat: - Direktes Anfahren der Parzelle mit Nummernschild Erkennung an der Einfahrt - schöne, ebene Parzelle Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat: - Wärmere Duschen, bei denen man nicht mit dem Rücken an der Wand stehen muss, um Wasser abzubekommen - Licht, welches auch in den Duschen leuchtet, um auch etwas erkennen zu können - Heizung in den Waschräumen (diese sind sehr kalt) - 4 Duschen sind 2 defekt. Entweder mehr Duschen oder defekte Duschen reparieren - vieles läuft hier nur mit Kartenzahlung. Kinder ohne Geldkarte können nicht autark einkaufen - stets 16A Stromanschluss, damit auch die Kaffeemaschine und ein anderes elektronisches Gerät parallel funktionieren - die Plätze werden kurz vor Reisebeginn im Preis deutlich (!) reduziert. Für eine Parzelle ohne privates Bad haben wir 560€ gezahlt, inzwischen kosten Parzellen mit Badezimmer 390€. Nach Anfrage ob ein Wechsel möglich ist, teilte man uns mit, dass wir erst stornieren müssen und eine Stornogebühr zu zahlen haben. Anders würde das Computer System nicht arbeiten können. - abendlicher und nächtlicher Zugang zum Waschhaus nur mit Keycard oder Handycode, für kleine Kinder eher unschön. - für uns bietet die Gegend nicht so viele (kostengünstige) Attraktionen. Wir werden das nächste Mal einen anderen Platz besuchen, der auch näher am Meer liegt. Da können wir auch bei schlechterem Wetter ans Meer und haben zumindest eine schöne Aussicht. Für Ruhe Liebende Menschen mit hoher Kältetoleranz ist dies hier aber sicherlich der richtige Platz.
