From glamping De Paalberg you walk straight onto the Ermelose Heide, a vast area of no less than 380 hectares, located between Staverden and Ermelo. During your walk you might just run into a shepherd with his flock of sheep, especially if you follow the route to the Ermelo Sheepfold. Besides hiking, the area offers numerous cycling opportunities through forests, over moors and past picturesque rural areas.     Receptie dicht na 17 uur en dat noemt zich een camping?????

    Helaas is onze ervaring wat teleurstellend door de relatief kleine camperplaatsen die bovendien erg dicht op elkaar staan. Door de regen was het erg modderig. De douches geven 5 min water waarbij de temperatuur niet te regelen is. Het toiletpapier was regelmatig op en er zijn geen papieren handdoekjes of blazer waardoor iedereen met natte handen naar buiten komt. Ook was het toiletreinigingsapparaat defect waardoor je naar een verderop gelegen gebouw moest met je toilet. Van een 5 sterren camping mag je echt wat meer verwachten.

    De Paalberg in Ermelo, tja. Wat voor de 1 een paradijs is, is voor de ander minder. Als je tieners meeneemt, is het geweldig hier. Voor kleinere kinderen is het redelijk ruk. Voor mensen die van rust houden is het ook een heel stuk minder. In de voorwaarden staat dat je muziek in/ bij je kampeermiddel mag hebben onder de voorwaarde dat een ander daar geen last van hebt. Vervolgens hoor je de hele dag het animatie team met een partybox rondlopen met knijterhard de muziek. Toch redelijk met 2 maten. Zelfs een slaande ruzie hier mogen zien. Campinggasten mochten gewoon blijven. Beleid zou toch moeten zijn dat ze vd camping verwijderd moeten worden. Blaffende honden, jankende kinderen, niks wordt gecorrigeerd door eigenaren en ouders. Hier moet je niet heen voor je rust. Om positief te eindigen: comfort plekken zijn groot. Sanitair wordt de hele dag door schoongemaakt. Dat is echt heel fijn, ondanks dat sommige volwassenen onder de douche poepen.. Te ranzig. Douchen is 5 minuten, maar gratis. Mooi systeem met de lichtjes in de muur. Parkeerplaats achter kan wat onderhoud hebben. Ook qua breedte. Auto's worden steeds groter. Meer omlijnd zou mooi zijn. Dan kunnen er meer auto's staan. Verder is hier alles: winkel, zwembad, aardbeienman en mooie natuur in de hoek vd camping.

    Prima camping met goede faciliteiten en een uitstekend restaurant, alleen jammer dat er geen mogelijkheid was fietsen te huren..en slechte WiFi op camperveld.
