A large park offering glamping tents, campsites, and mobile homes for rent. If you like a lively atmosphere, this is great, but we prefer peace and quiet. Many of the cottages were permanently occupied, so it lacked the Landal atmosphere and tranquility.

Groot park met verhuur van glampingtenten, campeerplaatsen en stacaravans. Als je van drukte houd is dit super maar wij houden van rust. Veel huisjes werden permanent bewoond, miste de Landal sfeer en rust.

My girlfriend and I stayed in cottage 41 and were told that it had been renovated. Unfortunately, we didn’t notice any signs of that. The cottage was dirty and poorly maintained: cobwebs everywhere, dirty walls, lots of bugs, dirty linens, and even mold on the ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom.
In addition, the central ventilation system … made an enormous amount of noise 24/7, especially in the bedroom. Because of this, we barely slept. We reported this, but the problem could not be resolved in time.
The pool, the Plaza, and the overall hygiene were also very disappointing. For example, the pool was even painted over chewing gum, and the pool table in the Plaza was moldy. On top of that, the pizzas were so hard they resembled brake discs.
The behavior of some guests and the staff driving golf carts way too fast didn’t exactly contribute to a pleasant stay either.
In the end, the experience was so bad that we even went home a day early.
A renovated cottage should be clean and well-maintained. That was absolutely not the case here.
We’ll never stay at De Schatberg again, and we certainly don’t recommend it.this is a translation, click here for the original
Mijn vriendin en ik verbleven in huisje 41 en kregen te horen dat dit een gerenoveerd huisje was. Daar hebben wij helaas niets van gemerkt. Het huisje was vies en slecht onderhouden: overal spinnenwebben, vieze muren, veel insecten, vies beddengoed en zelfs schimmel op het plafond in de keuken en badkamer.
Daarnaast maakte de centrale ventilatie 24/7 enorm veel lawaai, vooral in de slaapkamer. Hierdoor hebben we nauwelijks geslapen. We hebben dit gemeld, maar het probleem kon niet op tijd worden opgelost.
Ook het zwembad, de Plaza en de algemene hygiëne vielen zwaar tegen. Zo werd er in het zwembad zelfs over kauwgom heen geschilderd en was de biljarttafel in de Plaza beschimmeld. De pizza's waren bovendien zo hard dat ze eerder op een remschijf leken.
Ook het gedrag van sommige bezoekers en het veel te hard rijden van medewerkers met golfkarretjes droegen niet bepaald bij aan een prettig verblijf.
Uiteindelijk was de ervaring zo slecht dat wij zelfs een dag eerder naar huis zijn gegaan.
Een gerenoveerd huisje hoort schoon en goed onderhouden te zijn. Dat was hier absoluut niet het geval.
Voor ons nooit meer De Schatberg en zeker geen aanrader. -
