From Arcen, follow the Meuse dike towards Venlo via a flat cycle path with views of the river. The route runs largely alongside the water and passes small villages where you can stop for a drink. Venlo itself has a compact city centre with a weekly market, an imposing town hall and various terraces along the Meuse. The distance from Arcen to Venlo is about fourteen kilometres, so you can cycle there and back as a great day trip without too much effort.

Theme park Toverland is located about 18 kilometers from the park and offers spectacular roller coasters, water attractions and indoor themed areas for young and old. Prefer to get active yourself? At climbing park Fun Forest, you can climb and scramble high among the trees over rope bridges, lianas and challenging zip lines. Speelpark Klein Zwitserland is also located in the same area and offers adventurous play forests, climbing equipment and fossil hunting in an old clay quarry.
