    Here is a detailed review focusing (mainly) on the staff. The staff in the “main restaurant,” in particular, was very rude. There was a young man there, around 25–30 years old. His attitude made it clear he wasn’t into it. He seemed uninterested and reacted irritably when we politely asked where our drinks were. I also got the impression that the … staff didn’t take the guests seriously. I noticed several times that they were goofing off behind the counter. I found this very disappointing. There was also a severe staff shortage. The employees who did take their work seriously were working incredibly hard, while the rest of the staff just stood around idly. In the morning, there was no staff in the supermarket.

    Food:
    The fresh rolls from the supermarket were anything but fresh. We had rolls that crumbled apart like rusks—that’s how dry they were, unfortunately. There were few options, and everything was left out in the bins (which were literally crates sitting in the middle of the supermarket among the boxes). I’m convinced they’ve been “reheating” these rolls in the oven for a few days now.
    I also found the snack bar very chaotic. The guys behind the counter were on their phones. As soon as the food was ready, they left it sitting on the counter for a long time because they were too busy chatting. As a result, the food was completely cold and soggy. I mentioned it, and they literally didn’t respond.

    Entertainment:
    There’s very little entertainment for children and adults. It’s a shame that nothing was organized, like family bingo or a show. There was one guest who did a magic show, but other than that, we didn’t see any entertainment.

    To end on a positive note, the cottages were just fine. There was some dust and wear and tear, but the hygiene was good, and the cottage’s interior was very nice and fairly “luxurious.”

    bij deze een uitgebreide review over (voornamelijk) het personeel. voornamelijk het personeel in het 'hoofd restaurant' was erg bot. er werkte een jonge van circa 25/30 jaar. deze jongen liet in zijn houding zien dat hij er geen zin in had. hij reageerde ongeïnteresseerd, en reageerde geïrriteerd toen wij op een vriendelijke manier vroegen waar ons drinken bleef. Ook had ik de indruk dat het personeel de gasten niet serieus nam. ik heb meerdere keren opgemerkt dat er werd gesmoesd achter de balie. dit vond ik erg jammer. Ook was erg erge personeelstekort. de werknemers die wél serieus te werk gingen, werkte mega hard, waar de rest van het personeel maar een beetje stond te hangen. in de ochtend was er geen personeel in de supermarkt.

    voedsel:
    de verse broodjes uit de supermarkt waren alles behalve vers. we hadden pistoletjes die uit elkaar kruimelde als beschuit, zo droog waren deze helaas. er waren weinig opties, alles lag open in de bakken (wat letterlijk kratten waren die in het midden van de supermarkt stonden tussen de dozen). ik ben ervan overtuigd dat ze deze broodjes al een paar dagen opnieuw 'afbakken' in de oven.
    ook vond ik de snackbar heel chaotisch. de jongens achter de bar zaten op hun telefoon. zodra het eten klaar was, lieten ze het nog heel lang op de balie staan, aangezien ze te druk waren met kletsen. hierdoor was het eten helemaal koud en slap. ik heb er wat van gezegd en er werd letterlijk niet op gereageerd.

    animatie:
    er is weinig entertainment voor de kinderen en volwassenen. jammer dat er niks werd georganiseerd zoals een familie bingo of voorstelling. er was 1 keer een gast die ging goochelen, maar verder hebben wij geen animatie gezien.

    om het positief te eindigen, de huisjes waren wel prima. er was wat stof en slijtage, maar de hygiëne was prima en de inrichting van het huisje was erg leuk en redelijk 'luxe'.

    As always, we had a wonderful time! This was already our third visit to EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel, and every time we’re surprised by the excellent service and beautiful accommodations. We’ve also stayed in a different cottage each time, which makes it even more fun.
    Despite the cold, we had wonderful weather. And thanks to the heated indoor pool, … which was open, the kids had a great time. The other facilities were top-notch as always!
    All in all, we had a wonderful time again. Thank you for the hospitality and great service, EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel! 👍

    Wij hebben het, zoals altijd, weer prima naar onze zin gehad! Dit was alweer onze derde keer bij EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel en telkens worden we weer verrast door de goede service en de mooie accommodaties. Ook hebben we iedere keer in een ander huisje verbleven, wat het extra leuk maakt.
    Ondanks de kou hebben we heerlijk weer gehad. En dankzij het verwarmde binnenzwembad, dat geopend was, hebben de kinderen zich uitstekend vermaakt. Ook de andere aanwezige faciliteiten waren weer top!
    Al met al hebben we weer genoten. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en goede service, EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel! 👍
