This unique Safaritent is fully equipped for the perfect glamping holiday! The tent features a cozy veranda with a canopy, so you can comfortably enjoy the outdoors. There is a fully equipped kitchen with inventory and a four-fold secured gas stove that can be moved outside. Ideal for outdoor cooking! Furthermore, there is a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a kettle. Additionally, the Safaritent has two sleeping cabins. One sleeping cabin has a double bed, and the other contains a single bed and a bunk bed. All beds come with blankets and pillows. *Please note! The photos used are marketing photos.     This was our second 10-day stay with our caravan at the Boerenzwaluw (August).
    Nice campground, spacious site (41), excellent restroom facilities.
    Thanks to the campground’s central location, the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for fun (cycling) excursions. The campground is located between a railroad track and a busy state … road.
    The noise isn’t too bad, though. It depends a bit on which direction the wind is coming from… when the wind blows from the east, you can hear the road a bit more.
    Not criticisms, but areas for improvement:
    More water taps closer to the sites.
    Lighting along the paved paths instead of the floodlight on the restroom building.
    We had a great time; the Boerenzwaluw is definitely worth a visit!

    Wij hebben voor de 2e keer 10 dagen met onze caravan op de Boerenzwaluw gestaan.(augustus)
    Fijne camping, ruime plek (41), prima sanitaire voorzieningen.
    Door de centale ligging van de camping bied de omgeving veel (fiets)mogelijkheden voor leuke uitstapjes. De camping ligt tussen een spoorlijn en een drukke provinciale weg.
    Op zich valt de geluidshinder mee. Hangt een beetje af uit welke richting de wind komt...bij wind uit het oosten is de weg wat meer te horen.
    Geen kritiek maar verbeter puntjes:
    Meer watertappunten dichter bij de plek.
    Verlichting langs de verharde paden i.pl.v. de schijnwerper op het sanitaire gebouw.
    We hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad, de Boerenzwaluw is zeker een aanrader!

    A campground with soul—we’ll be back! ★★★★★

    We had such a wonderful time at Camping de Boere Zwaluw in Zijdewind. If you’re looking for peace, space, and genuine hospitality, this is THE place to go in North Holland.

    The campground is a green oasis. Extremely spacious sites (140 m²!), beautifully maintained grass, plenty of trees for … shade, and a well-kept, park-like atmosphere everywhere. The restroom facility is modern, heated, and spotless at all times of the day. A solid 10 for hygiene!

    But what really makes this campground special are the owners. Bjorn and Maaike, you two are absolute gems! So incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Always up for a chat, always with a smile. Here, you don’t feel like just a number—you feel truly welcome and at home. You can see how much love and respect you put into running this beautiful place and carrying on Kees’s legacy. Top-notch!

    Everything else was perfectly organized: super-fast free Wi-Fi, great amenities, dog-friendly, and an ideal base for biking through West Friesland and a day at the beach in Petten or Callantsoog.

    Dear Bjorn and Maaike, thank you for the fantastic hospitality. We had a wonderful time!

    Een camping met een ziel - wij komen terug! ★★★★★

    Wat een heerlijke tijd hebben wij gehad op Camping de Boere Zwaluw in Zijdewind. Als je op zoek bent naar rust, ruimte en echte gezelligheid, dan is dit HET adres in Noord-Holland.

    De camping is een groene oase. Enorm ruime plaatsen (140m2!), prachtig onderhouden gras, genoeg bomen voor schaduw en overal een verzorgde, parkachtige uitstraling. Het sanitairgebouw is modern, verwarmd en op ieder moment van de dag brandschoon. Een dikke 10 voor de hygiëne!

    Maar wat deze camping écht bijzonder maakt, zijn de eigenaren. Bjorn en Maaike, wat zijn jullie gouden mensen! Zo ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gezellig. Altijd in voor een praatje, altijd met een lach. Je voelt je hier geen nummer, maar echt welkom en thuis. Je ziet met hoeveel liefde en respect jullie deze prachtige plek runnen en het werk van Kees voortzetten. Klasse!

    Verder alles perfect geregeld: supersterke gratis WiFi, fijne voorzieningen, hondvriendelijk en een ideale uitvalsbasis voor fietsen door Westfriesland en een dagje strand in Petten of Callantsoog.

    A neat, quiet campground with nice restroom facilities and comfortable showers. A train does pass by, but there are no trains at night. We were parked close to the tracks. It doesn’t make much noise, though—it just rustles by, so to speak.
