We stayed here for 12 days recently. A beautiful, spacious campground with excellent, large sites. The weather was very nice and warm, and the large sites offered plenty of options for sitting in the shade or the sun. It can get quite windy in North Holland, but thanks to the many hedges, trees, and shrubs, you hardly notice it here. The train does pass by at high speed a few times a day, but that lasts only 5 seconds, and it doesn’t bother you after that. The modern restroom facilities are excellent, with plenty of showers and toilets. A washing machine, dryer, and freezer are available in the restroom area. There’s also a reading corner with all kinds of information about North Holland. The campground is very centrally located relative to Enkhuizen, Medenblik, Hoorn, Den Helder, and the North Sea beach. All are about a 30-minute drive away. Schagen is just 5 minutes away, where there’s a large shopping center with parking right next to it. So for a week in North Holland, this is definitely a top recommendation.

Hier onlangs 12 dagen gestaan. Mooie ruim opgezette camping met prima grote plaatsen. Het was erg mooi weer en warm en de grote plaatsen gaven genoeg mogelijkheden om in de schaduw of zon te zitten. Het waait nogal eens in Noord Holland. Hier merk je door de vele hagen, bomen en struiken weinig of niets van. Wel komt de trein er op hoge snelheid een paar keer per dag langs. Maar dat is 5 seconden en verder heb je er geen last van. Prima modern sanitair met voldoende douches en toiletten. Wasautomaat en droger en ook vrieskist zijn in sanitair ruimte beschikbaar. Verder een leeshoek met allerlei info over Noord Holland. De camping ligt heel centraal t.o.v Enkhuizen, Medenblik, Hoorn, Den helder of Noordzeestrand. Alles met ca 30 autominuten bereikbaar. Schagen op 5 minuten waar groot winkelcentrum is waar je direct bij kunt parkeren. Dus voor een weekje Noord Holland is dit zeker een aanrader.

A wonderful campground with nice, clean restrooms. The campsites are spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It takes a little getting used to the trains that pass right behind the campground day and night, but after the first night, they didn’t bother us anymore. We’ll definitely be back!

Schitterende camping, met mooi en schoon sanitair. Staanplaatsen zijn ruim en de beheerders vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wel even wennen aan de treinen die dag en nacht vlak achter de camping langsrijden maar na eerste nacht geen last meer van gehad. We gaan zeker terug!
