Looking for a unique place to stay with your friends? Duynlodge – Duynpark is a cosy lodge tent hidden in a quiet dune hollow, where you get the full nature vibe without giving up comfort. Think glamping: real beds, stylish wooden furniture and a warm, crackling wood-burning stove where you can cook together and hang out late into the night.

The lodge sleeps up to 6 people and is perfect for a small group of friends. Start your day with coffee on the veranda, barefoot in the sand, and end it with a drink under the stars and candlelight. The fenced garden gives you plenty of privacy, and there’s space to relax, play games or fire up the stove. Kids are more than welcome too: they’ll love the playful box bed and the outdoor shower. There’s even a trampoline in the garden, so they can jump around while you chill with a drink.

The outdoor shower is a real highlight – refreshing after a beach day or morning run in the dunes. Prefer something calmer? Just sink into a chair on the veranda, listen to the wind in the dunes and enjoy the peace. Here, life is simple, social and all about being outside together.

From your tent, you can walk straight to the wide sandy beach of Callantsoog. It’s the perfect spot for a swim, sunset drinks or a lazy beach day. Nearby, the Zwanenwater Nature Reserve invites you for walks through dunes and along lakes, with plenty of chances for birdwatching and photography. Dogs are welcome in the area, and there are dog-friendly zones on the beach, so your four-legged friend can come along too.

Fancy a little road trip or bike ride? Explore the charming town of Schagen with its cafés and shops, or cycle through colourful tulip fields in spring. And after a day outside, you can either cook under the stars at your lodge or head out for a good meal: try Strandpaviljoen Vos for dinner with sea views, grab classic Dutch snacks at Ijsie Prima, or enjoy fresh fish at Visrestaurant De Jongens.

    We—three adults and a dog—stayed in a dune lodge (tent). The kettle was missing, but otherwise everything was there. A great experience. The information provided in advance is a bit misleading. The walk to the beach goes along a busy bike path. It’s definitely a 20-minute walk from the campground. The outdoor shower is disconnected and can no longer be used. Due to circumstances, we arrived later on Friday, and the reception desk wasn’t staffed again until Monday. It would be nice if there were an information sign or form posted at the entrance. Other than that, no complaints—we had a great time in the kitchen.

    Wij, 3 volw en een hond verbleven in een duynlodge (tent). De waterkoker miste maar verder was alles aanwezig. Een superervaring. De informatie vooraf is wat misleidend. Lopend naar het strand gaat over een druk fietspad. Het is vanaf de camping zeker 20min lopen. De buiten douche is ontkoppeld en kan niet meer worden gebruikt. Wij kwamen door omstandigheden later aan op vrijdag en pas maandag was de receptie weer aanwezig. Het zou fijn zijn als er een informatiebord of formulier zou hangen bij de ingang. Verder niets te zeuren, keuken tijd gehad

    We had such a good time at the Duynlodge! The wood stove made our evenings so enjoyable, and the outdoor shower was a nice bonus for the kids, I loved drinking wine on the porch while listening to the sounds of nature, It was very relaxing, It's also a short bike ride from Callantsoog beach, which was perfect for our family, The only downside was that we had to chop the wood ourselves, but that was kind of fun too! I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful escape,
