Tiny House 2 may be small, but it has a very clever layout which gives it a feeling of space. The house has all the facilities you need and is suitable for 2 people. The living room of the tiny house is warmly decorated with natural materials and has a cosy sitting area with television. There is also a pellet stove. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a combination microwave oven, cooker and coffee-pad machine. Via a staircase you reach the sleeping floor with a double bed. Furthermore, the Tiny House has a bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside you will find a sunny terrace with garden furniture. Together with other tiny houses, the house borders an open-air courtyard with lounge sofas, hammocks and a (shared) hot tub where you can enjoy yourself. The wood you need for the hot tub can be bought at the reception, you don't have to bring it yourself.

    A beautiful area where you can enjoy wonderful walks. You do have to be able to tolerate airplanes flying overhead every few minutes. It even starts as early as 4 a.m.

    ★☆☆☆☆ – About 2,200 € for a container, mold, dirty sheets, and sleepless nights

    In the booking photos, the accommodations looked like real vacation homes to us. Once we arrived, we were given a container with a facade. Everything seemed cheaply put together, thoughtlessly furnished, and extremely sparsely equipped. For us, there was a world … of difference between the impression given by the pictures and the actual accommodations we were assigned. The accommodation may differ from the pictures shown—you should be prepared for that when booking.

    The first place had visible mold. For around 2,200 €, that was a shocking start to our vacation. I’ve even had better accommodations on school trips.

    After we filed a complaint, we were allowed to choose between three other accommodations. The change was possible, but the receptionist seemed barely interested in our report of the mold. We found her treatment of us to be extremely unfriendly.

    The replacement accommodation was better, but it was also a container. Even the most basic items were missing: no wooden spoon, not even a hook in the bathroom to hang towels. To us, the furnishings gave the impression that no one had given any thought to how guests were supposed to go about their daily lives there. Careless and skimping on the bare essentials—that was our impression.

    Even the bed linens provided were dirty and damaged. Clean, undamaged bed linens are an absolute minimum requirement, regardless of price. The fact that even that wasn’t provided was completely unacceptable to us.

    The nights were particularly bad: the hot water and heating systems were located in the bedroom closet. The temperatures in the bedroom were unbearable for us. All the radiators were missing their control valves, so we couldn’t regulate them properly. They would get extremely hot at random times, even in the middle of the night. We were unable to get a restful night’s sleep.

    Although there was water all around the property, there were no fly screens. Especially in the heat, when you want to open the windows, this was another significant drawback. The Wi-Fi was also so poor during our stay that it was barely usable for us.

    On top of that, there was significant aircraft noise due to the location under the flight path of Amsterdam Airport, which disturbed us even at night. The peace and relaxation we’d hoped for never materialized.

    Our overall impression: a high price for alarmingly little comfort, care, and attention to guests’ basic needs. To us, it seemed as though making money was a much higher priority than ensuring a pleasant stay.

    In our view, paying around €2,200 for this represents a disastrous value for money. Even changing accommodations couldn’t save this vacation. We regret making the booking. Once and never again—after this experience, we cannot recommend EuroParcs Velsen-Zuid.

    ★☆☆☆☆ – Rund 2.200 € für Container, Schimmel, dreckige Bettwäsche und schlaflose Nächte

    Auf den Buchungsbildern sahen die Unterkünfte für uns wie richtige Ferienhäuser aus. Vor Ort bekamen wir einen verkleideten Container. Alles wirkte auf uns billig hochgezogen, lieblos eingerichtet und äußerst spärlich ausgestattet. Zwischen dem Eindruck der Bilder und der tatsächlich zugewiesenen Unterkunft lagen für uns Welten. Die Unterkunft kann von den gezeigten Bildern abweichen – darauf sollte man sich bei einer Buchung einstellen.

    Die erste Unterkunft hatte sichtbaren Schimmel. Für rund 2.200 € war das ein erschreckender Start in den Urlaub. Selbst auf Klassenfahrten war ich schon besser untergebracht.

    Nach unserer Beschwerde durften wir zwischen drei anderen Unterkünften wählen. Der Wechsel war möglich, aber unser Hinweis auf den Schimmel schien die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption kaum zu interessieren. Ihren Umgang mit uns empfanden wir als extrem unfreundlich.

    Die Ersatzunterkunft war besser, aber ebenfalls ein Container. Selbst an einfachsten Dingen fehlte es: kein Kochlöffel, nicht einmal Haken im Badezimmer, um Handtücher aufzuhängen. Für uns wirkte die Ausstattung, als hätte sich niemand Gedanken darüber gemacht, wie Gäste dort ihren Alltag verbringen sollen. Lieblos und am Nötigsten gespart – so war unser Eindruck.

    Auch die bereitgestellte Bettwäsche war verschmutzt und beschädigt. Saubere, intakte Bettwäsche ist eine absolute Mindestanforderung, unabhängig vom Preis. Dass selbst das nicht gegeben war, war für uns völlig inakzeptabel.

    Besonders schlimm waren die Nächte: Die Warmwasser- und Heizungstechnik befand sich im Schlafzimmerschrank. Im Schlafzimmer herrschten für uns unerträgliche Temperaturen. An sämtlichen Heizkörpern fehlten die Einstellköpfe, sodass wir sie nicht vernünftig regulieren konnten. Sie wurden zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten extrem heiß, auch mitten in der Nacht. Erholsamer Schlaf war für uns nicht möglich.

    Obwohl sich rund um die Unterkunft Wasser befand, gab es keine Fliegengitter. Gerade bei der Hitze, wenn man die Fenster öffnen möchte, war das ein weiterer erheblicher Minuspunkt. Das WLAN war während unseres Aufenthalts ebenfalls so schlecht, dass es für uns kaum brauchbar war.

    Hinzu kam erheblicher Fluglärm durch die Lage unter der Flugschneise des Flughafens Amsterdam, der uns auch nachts störte. Die erhoffte Ruhe und Erholung blieben aus.

    Unser Gesamteindruck: ein hoher Preis bei erschreckend wenig Komfort, Sorgfalt und Aufmerksamkeit für grundlegende Bedürfnisse der Gäste. Für uns wirkte es, als stehe das Geldverdienen deutlich stärker im Vordergrund als ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

    Rund 2.200 € dafür sind aus unserer Sicht ein katastrophales Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Auch der Unterkunftswechsel konnte diesen Urlaub nicht retten. Wir bereuen die Buchung. Einmal und nie wieder – nach dieser Erfahrung können wir EuroParcs Velsen-Zuid nicht empfehlen.

    So, a campground where you can’t reach anyone by phone and have to search forever for a contact address is an absolute NO-GO.
    The campground is in a very nice location, close to the airport; the noise from the airport is a bit of a nuisance but it’s okay.
    Pitches L and S are located outside the campground, right next to the parking lot with … a barrier that’s always open. Check-in at the reception desk is only between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. You’re supposed to call ahead and let them know you’ll be arriving later...... but how exactly?????
    The restaurant is average by Dutch standards; the schnitzel is good and the peanut sauce is great.
    There’s also a small shop with a bread roll service starting at 9:00 a.m. and the essentials you’ll need.
    Dinner is served until 8:00 p.m.
    The restrooms and showers (coed) are clean but a bit far away—about a 400-meter walk.
    There’s no toilet paper there, nor are there paper towels at the sinks—just two germ-spreading faucets at the sinks.
    The campsites are equipped with 16-amp power outlets.

    Also ein Campingplatz wo man keinen per Telefon erreicht, und man ewig nach einer Kontaktadresse sucht ist ein absolutes NO GO.
    Der Platz ist sehr schön gelegen, in der Nähe vom Flughafen, dieser stört ein wenig ist aber ok.
    Die Stellplätze L und S befinden sich außerhalb des Campingplatzes direkt am Parkplatz mit einer dauergeöffneten Schranke. Anreise ander Rezeption nur zwischen 15.00 Uhr und 16.00 Uhr. Man soll sich melden und bescheid geben das man später kommt...... aber wie denn?????
    Das Restaurant ist im niederländischen Durchschnitt, Schnitzel sind gut die Erdnußsauce ist super.
    Es gibt auch einen kleinen Laden mit Brötchenservice ab 9.00 Uhr und dem Nötigsten was man benötigt.
    Abendessen bekommt man bis 20.00 Uhr.
    Toiletten und Duschen (gemischt) sind sauber aber etwas weit weg ca. 400 m zu laufen.
    Toilettenpapier ist da a er keine Papierhandtücher an den Waschbecken, Nur 2 Bakterienschleudern am Waschbecken.
    Die Stellplätze sind mit 16Amp abgesi hert
