Molengroet enjoys an ideal location in the middle of nature and opposite the beautiful Geestmerambacht recreation area, with excellent access to Alkmaar and the Dutch coast. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, the well-maintained park with spacious pitches and gardens, and the heated swimming pool that is particularly suitable for families with children. The restaurant offers a pleasant terrace with a good menu and friendly service, and various activities for children are available. Points of concern include the sanitary facilities which are outdated and not always sufficiently cleaned, the limited space on some camping pitches, and noise disturbance from nearby roads, especially in the evenings from motorcycles and cars.

We really enjoyed our stay at Europark Molengroet. Our favorite parts were the heated pool and the playground. The house was a bit cramped for 6 people. The bedrooms were tiny, and the bathroom floor could use some replacing. But overall, we felt right at home. At night, you could hear noise from the street, but it wasn’t too bothersome. The kitchen was sparsely equipped, but everything we needed was there. The park’s location was great. Alkmaar, Bergen, Egmond, and Zandvoort are all within easy reach.

Booked on pitchup, saw check in time was 1pm to 00:00 or anytime.
    Check out 12:00

    Reception closes 1700
They called me 1630 for instructions for keybox email.

    I arrived 1730.

My envelope was missing the gate card and my lot" chalet" was almost at the end of the park.
There's a button for phone at the gate to call security to let you in, they claim that they can't help you?

The reception phone number after 1700 nobody answers but if you dial 1 you can talk to security, they gave me the wrong box number for my envelope details so they got my the correct one with the missing gate key for car.

I had to walk all my gear inside.
People in the comments talk about good security....

You can just walk in, no key card needed to use bathroom, showers or the play site for kids. You need a key for the gate and the swimming pool.

They gave me the wrong leaflet saying I need to checkout 10am instead of 12.

My chalet was full of leftover bush trimmings.
There was 4 others chalets available without the bush trimmings.

    Men's shower was flooded

A neat campground with friendly staff. There is some noise from the nearby highway, though.
