Stay directly on the water in this comfortable houseboat in Uitgeest, a special place for a relaxing holiday with the whole family. The houseboat is suitable for 6 people and offers plenty of space to enjoy together. On the ground floor, you'll find a bright living room with a sitting area, TV, and dining area with six chairs, next to a fully equipped open kitchen with a four-burner gas stove, dishwasher, combination microwave, and Nespresso machine. There is also a separate toilet. In the basement there are three bedrooms, each with two single beds, and a spacious bathroom with a separate shower and toilet. A washing machine and dryer make your stay extra comfortable, just like the private Wi-Fi network.

    Lovely location to spend the night. The spot is a bit hidden behind two sheds, which block strong winds and the noise of the highway. Once you pass the barrier (not the one at the reception, but between the two sheds), you choose your (available) spot by the water. The spots are marked off on the ground. Small campers fit perfectly, but over 7 meters it becomes cramped or you take a spot on the other side near the ship crane. I stood there alone, however not at all lonely because there are plenty of residents nearby. Toilet, washroom and casette cleaning is around the corner and clean, large and included in the price. So is shore power. During my stay, some was not available due to work on ships. Reservations are handy when you don't want to fall behind the net, but in my case were not necessary. You do hear the occasional landing aircraft fly over. You definitely hear them, but it didn't bother me! So when you're looking for a camper spot, close to Uitgeest (walking distance), Amsterdam or Haarlem by train or just relax in the harbor or on the bike in the area,.... or to spot planes. Look no further!

    Heerlijke locatie om te overnachten. Plekje ligt een beetje verscholen achter twee loodsen, welke sterke wind en het geluid van de snelweg goed tegen houden. Eenmaal de slagboom voorbij (niet die bij de receptie, maar tussen de twee loodsen door), kies je jouw (beschikbare) plek aan het water. De plekken zijn afgetekend op de grond. Kleine campers passen perfect, maar vanaf 7 meter wordt het proppen of neem je een plekje aan de andere kant bij de scheepskraan. Ik stond er alleen, echter helemaal niet eenzaam want er zijn genoeg bewoners in de buurt. Toilet, wasruimte en casette-reiniging is om de hoek en schoon, groot en bij de prijs inbegrepen. Zo ook de walstroom. Tijdens mijn verblijf was een deel niet beschikbaar i.v.m. werkzaamheden aan schepen. Reserveren is handig wanneer je niet achter het net wilt vissen, maar was in mijn geval niet nodig. Je hoort wel af en toe een landend vliegtuig over vliegen. Je hoort ze zeker, maar ik heb er geen last van gehad! Dus wanneer je een camperplekje zoekt, dicht bij Uitgeest (loopafstand), Amsterdam of Haarlem met de trein of even onbezorgd bijkomen in de haven of op de fiets in de omgeving,.. of om vliegtuigen te spotten. Zoek niet verder!
