Take beautiful walks on the Lemelerberg, where you will encounter beautiful heaths, deciduous forests, and sandy plains. And this is only a 12-minute drive away. Are you there in the fall? Then you might even come across a flock of sheep! Another special place to go is the Sahara of Ommen. Cycle here in 15 minutes and be amazed by the 20 acres of sand drifts. A fun place to wander or build sandcastles with the family. Follow one of the hiking trails and admire this unique piece of nature in the Netherlands!

Sailing through the area

Camping de Koeksebelt is located right in between two amusement parks, namely the fun Adventure Park Hellendoorn and Amusement Park Slagharen where you step into the world of cowboys and Indians. After about a 20-minute drive you are awaited by fast roller coasters, water rides and spectacular shows for the whole family. Either way, that will be an active day full of adrenaline! Once back at the glamping site in Overijssel, relax in your accommodation.

Shopping, walking and terrace

Sometimes it's nice to alternate nature for an afternoon in the city. Around Glamping de Koeksebelt are many nice cities for a day out. Drive 25 minutes to the cozy Zwolle. The center is full of outdoor cafes and fun stores. The pretty streets are perfect for strolling through. On the German border is another nice town, Coevorden. After a 30-minute drive you are in the fortified town with castle, green parks along the water and many stores and cafes. Do you drive another 10 minutes further north? Then you come to Emmen! Here too you will find streets full of stores, as well as WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo. A zoo with fun trails and playgrounds for children.

    Beautiful and very clean campsite. However, I did find the animation a bit disappointing. In advance you receive an email with all the necessary information, which is clear and convenient. I am very much in favor of banning fatbikes and similar vehicles on a campsite, but there are golf carts being driven around the grounds myself, with not exactly gentle driving. Unfortunately, when my mother wanted to discuss a point of improvement at the reception desk upon leaving, it was not very kindly received.

    Mooie en zeer schone camping. Wel vond ik de animatie wat tegenvallen. Vooraf ontvang je een e-mail met alle benodigde informatie, wat duidelijk en handig is. Ik ben groot voorstander van het verbieden van fatbikes en vergelijkbare voertuigen op een camping, maar er wordt zelf ook met golfkarretjes over het terrein gereden, waarbij niet bepaald zacht wordt gereden. Toen mijn moeder bij vertrek een verbeterpunt wilde bespreken bij de receptie, werd dat helaas niet erg vriendelijk ontvangen.

    We had a nice campsite with private sanitary facilities, which was very clean and also offered enough space. We ate in the restaurant. Friendly staff, delicious food. Everyone was also very helpful and friendly on our arrival. Can definitely recommend the campsite. Will gladly come again

    Wir hatten einen schönen Campingplatz mit privat sanitär,was sehr sauber und auch genügend Platz bietet. Waren im Restaurant Essen. Freundliches Personal, lecker Essen. Auch bei unserer Ankunft waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Kann den Campingplatz auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Kommen gerne wieder

    Just returned from a week of camping at the Koeksebelt! What a fantastic week we had with our boys aged 14 and 11. Beautiful, spacious comfort pitch by the water where they caught a lot of fish. Great pool to cool off, we had super nice weather in April and plenty to do in the area. The sanitary building was fine, sometimes the water pressure with showering was on the low side, difficult to rinse your long hair, but that was the only downside for us. The croquettes from the snack bar were top! Rarely had such a delicious croquette....kortom we will definitely come back again!

    Net terug van een week kamperen op de Koeksebelt! Wat een fantastische week hebben wij gehad met onze jongens van 14 en 11 jaar. Mooie, ruime comfortplaats aan het water waar ze heel wat visjes hebben gevangen. Prima zwembad om even af te koelen, we hadden supermooi weer in april en in de omgeving genoeg te doen. Het sanitair gebouw was prima, soms was de waterdruk met douchen aan de lage kant, lastig om dan je lange haar uit te spoelen, maar dat was voor ons het enige minpuntje. De kroketten van de snackbar waren top! Zelden zo'n lekkere kroket gehad....kortom wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

    Fantastic week had spot on the vecht lovely quiet campsite beautifully cared for very clean toilet buildings. Nice owner delicious food in brasserie and snack bar. Top we come back next year Fam Van petten
