This medieval city is full of beautiful buildings, has many nice stores and enough terraces for a drink or lunch. Ommen is a 20-minute drive away. This old Hanseatic city is located on the banks of the river De Vecht. Make it an active outing by biking in that direction and finding somewhere along the river to picnic. Guests are very positive about the animation and the enthusiastic team that organises daily activities with Cobus the Owl and other characters for all ages. The swimming pool with slides, both indoor and outdoor, is highly appreciated by young and old alike. The playgrounds on every field and the large play castle provide plenty of fun. The park is well maintained, sanitary facilities are consistently kept clean, and staff are friendly and helpful.

    Nice entertainment, but unfortunately there’s not much for kids 11 and older to do. The pool is great, though it can get a bit too cold outside sometimes; the restrooms are clean, and the fields are in good shape. The Wi-Fi isn’t great, but it’s okay. (Download a movie in the afternoon to watch in the evening.) The staff is very friendly and helpful.

    Leuke animatie, helaas voor 11+ers is er weinig te beleven. Zwembad is top, buiten soms wat te koud, sanitair is schoon, veldjes liggen er goed bij. Wifi is niet top, maar ok. (‘s middags een film downloaden om ‘s avonds te kijken). Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

    Nice place, well-organized. Great team and good communication, except for the hours of operation, which, unfortunately, are only sporadically listed in the app.
