We spent four weeks by the water with private bathroom facilities—it was truly a pleasure. We’ve already booked again for next year.

This was my third time staying in a water lodge. Even during the heavy thunderstorms, I felt safe and enjoyed the view of the large fishing/swimming pond. The variety of birds—such as grebes, coots, storks, swans, swallows, and more—is also wonderful to see. In the evening, we were treated to a chorus of bullfrogs. We learned how to use a stand-up paddleboard, and the soft-serve ice cream and fries at the campground were delicious! In addition to the fishing pond, the swimming pool was a wonderful way to cool off last weekend. We were in the pool for so long because of the heat that our fingers got all wrinkled—and yes, of course we tested out the water slide 🤣. The lodges were clean and fully equipped. That’s why we love coming back every year for a long weekend. This park is highly recommended for young and old alike.

A nice campground with friendly staff.
There’s a playground on every site.
The restrooms are new, neat, and clean. They use a card system to get hot water.
For us, the only downside is that it has to be quiet by 10:00 p.m., even on long, warm evenings. But that might be an advantage for someone else.
The pool is simple, but there’s a fun slide!
The restaurant and snack bar are great, though they aren’t open every day during the early season.
You can find all sorts of things in the little shop.
    We’ll definitely be back here!

    Wij komen hier zeker terug!
