We stayed here for a week with our kids and dog. First, the negatives: the safe was broken, the house wasn’t cleaned very well, and the campground’s food is good but, unfortunately, quite expensive. A 0.5-liter wheat beer for 8.70 is quite a shock.
But there’s a lot of positive feedback to share, and ultimately I’d like to explain why I’m giving it 4 stars: There are different “areas” for camping, safari tents, bungalows, and RVs. For kids, the safari tents alone are an adventure, and the many on-site playgrounds keep them entertained. The swimming pool can be fully opened up to become an outdoor pool. Our “big girl” took a diving course there. The fee was only 10 euros—great!! There are plenty of activities and entertainment options for kids. The lake with its beach and inflatable iceberg is also great for the kids. We felt very comfortable there and have nothing but good things to say about the service. Although the park is right on the border, not everyone here speaks German, so if you don’t speak English, please don’t expect the whole world to speak German. It wasn’t a problem for us. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding area. You can even take your dog to the zoo in Nordhorn. All in all, we’ll definitely come back here and maybe try staying in a mobile home next time.this is a translation, click here for the original

The campground itself is fine, though there are a lot of English-speaking staff members. Don’t expect much from the ponds in terms of fishing—you have to walk down about 3 meters before you reach the water, and it’s pretty stagnant with only a few fish. The entertainment is pretty good. The campground is neat and clean.

Animatie is aardig goed. Park is netjes schoon.

Just filthy! The windows look like a pigsty.
It looks like they’ve never vacuumed here.
The bathroom is a disaster.
The kitchen is practically falling apart.
Dirty pots are sitting in the cabinet.
The glasses are unusable.
The sheets are dirty, and the mattress is awful.
Once and never again.
