This park is beautifully located by the water with its own marina, ideal for anglers and water sports enthusiasts, but faces considerable challenges. The location directly next to the A16 motorway causes constant traffic noise that many guests find disturbing. Guests appreciate the friendly staff at reception and the central location for trips to Dordrecht and Rotterdam. However, cleanliness and maintenance fall seriously short: many chalets are dirty upon arrival, with dust, mould, dirty dishes and poorly functioning appliances. The facilities provision is disappointing, with the restaurant, snack bar and shop regularly closed, even during high season. The swimming pool is described as small and insufficiently clean, and the play facilities are outdated and poorly maintained.

    The cottage was beautiful. With a fenced-in yard, it would be even more pleasant to stay there with a dog or children. Cottage 116 was right on the water. However, there was a lot of noise from cars driving over the bridge.

    Huisje was prachtig. Met omheinde tuin zou het nog prettiger verblijven zijn met de hond of kan kinderen. Huisje 116 lag aan het water. Wel veel herrie van autos die over de brug reden.

    This park is truly a nightmare. It started as soon as we arrived. My wife walked in to check us in. But they insisted that I, as a man, had to do it because my name was on the reservation, even though my wife had properly identified herself. Of course, her name and the kids’ names were also on the reservation. She was really upset that this is … still possible in this day and age. And then there were the cottages—we had reserved four cottages as a family. My brother-in-law’s cottage really stank of urine, and everything was filthy. Our cottage smelled like a musty basement, and some things were too gross to touch. And the other two cottages were just as dirty. The park is located between an industrial area and a highway. Ships are constantly sailing by, too. So it’s really great for your health. We were constantly disturbed at night by ships passing by. One family left a day early because they simply didn’t want to sleep in their cottage anymore.
    The only bright spot was the food at the restaurant. It was okay, I guess. But nothing more than that. I’m not usually one to give a bad review, because I’m easily satisfied, but this was truly terrible.
    Oh yeah, since my brother-in-law was organizing everything, he reported the issue with all the cottages. And guess what? No response at all.

    Echt een draak van een park. Het begon al bij aankomst. Mijn vrouw liep naar binnen om ons aan te melden. Maar ze vonden dat ik het als man moest doen, omdat mijn naam onder de aanmelding stond, terwijl mijn vrouw zich netjes identificeert. Ook haar naam en van de kids stonden natuurlijk in de reservering. Ze was echt boos dat dit in deze tijd nog mogelijk is. En dan de huisjes, we hadden als familie 4 huisjes gereserveerd. Het huis van mijn schoonbroer stonk echt naar pis en alles was vies. Ons huisje stonk naar oude kelder en sommige dingen te goor om aan te raken. En de andere 2 huisjes waren eveneens vies. Het park ligt tussen een industriegebied en een snelweg. Ook varen er continu schepen langs. Dus echt top voor je gezondheid. In de nacht steeds last van langs varende schepen. 1 gezin van de familie is zelf 1 dag eerder vertrokken, omdat ze gewoon niet meer in hun huisje wilde slapen.
    Het enige betere van alles was het eten in het restaurant. Dat was op zich oké. Ook niet meer dan dan. Ik ben normaal niet van een slechte review geven, want ik ben snel tevreden met dingen, maar dit was toch echt uitermate slecht.
    Oh ja, mijn schoonbroer had omdat hij alles organiseerde, melding gemaakt van alle huisjes. En wat denk je? Nul reactie.
